So Hurn is out for 8 weeks and Scott Selwood is out for 4 weeks. Two pretty big losses but Hurn out for 8 is huge.

On a completely unrelated note we are paying 4.00 to make the 8

My fault, I traded him into my Dream Team last week. I got Dale Thomas earlier in the year the week that he did his ankle too.

Time for some more successful trades like that Schulzenfest. Swan, Watson, Hodge would be some I recommend.

Being pessimistic here, we wont be in the grand final this year. I'm looking seriously at next year with our Port Adelaide Oval Cauldron helping us through :p

Who would you like to see this year in the grandy ? I've got a barby organised with family and friends already. I'm hoping for Hawthorn v Geelong. Would make a great day of entertainment.

On 3AW a little while ago the panel was discussing the Brisbane / Geelong game.
Question was asked: "How can a coach let his team lose in the last quarter after having such a big lead?"
(Or something very close to that.)
Answer is simple: Make sure his surname is Scott.

Yes it's about about time they won something.
They play that fluffy game of football that just doesn't win finals. Essendon play it at the moment. I dont like it. If we could bottle what we dished up against Sydney, lock us in for two finals wins. But i'm afraid the youngsters in our team will be inconsitent for a while yet. But Ken has us playing finals style footy at least.

Having said that, some flash, which Hawthorn have, and deep contested footy which Geelong have, would make a good game. Just need some fist's flying to keep the beers flowing :D

Freo have a crazily easy run home and will finish top 2. They aren't an easy task for anyone at Subi.

They're definitely a contender this season

Somewhere on the main board a poster suggested that Brad had leant Chris his notes on closing out a game ;)

Ken is trying to get us playing a brand of football that will hold us in good stead for a long time, just like the Magies. The defensive hard tackling game is good when a team gets on top of you that style can stop their run and create turnovers and opportunities for us to score. I think Freo can do it, depending on who they play, they like to starve their opponents and keep their scoring down.

Would be interesting, but knowing the Tigers they will stuff it up some where and they also have a spud in defense lol
Would be good for chappy to watch them win a premiership from the stands (injured) and then see us win the 2014/15 after knocking them out of the prelim.

The word is out about Chinguard, just got a massive wrap on On The Couch. I wonder if there will be a news segment/article about how one of our players was mentioned by the Victorian media.
I remember when Tredda's retired, i was watching the footy show and i can't remember any thing being mentioned about him.
