Anyone know why Mitch Wallis hasn't been playing for the Bulldogs?
His contract status?

Rate him fairly highly and I recall Port putting in the only first round bid for him in the Father-son in 2010.
Thats probably just because every other club is ****ing lazy when it comes to the FS bidding. No surprises that we were the only team that bothered bidding for Viney and Daniher last year. And don't be surprised that if we finish ahead of North this year, that none of the pricks below them make them take Luke McDonald with their first effectively pushing us down another spot in the draft . GWS could have done everyone a good deed by forcing Melbourne to take Viney at three given that he had already spent a year with them, they were never letting him get away from them, just like nothing will prevent McDonald ending up at North. Throw in Melbourne picking up another start of first rounder and it's 2010 all ****ing over again so we can have pick 16 or something for finishing mid table (and don't forget Martin and Hogan already have been removed from this years crop). Guess the only fun thing will be seeing Adelaide miss out.

Needed to have a bit of a whinge there! If we make the eight, I won't give a damn about when our first pick is.

I don't think it's lazy - it's just that those clubs will look after their own interests. Once we had put a bid in, what was the point of them doing it? Unless the Bulldogs wanted to trump us - and it's clear they didn't - we had the best picks available for those players. I understand the whole 'force them to match to get a father/son' - but what if North doesn't do that? What if they say 'You know what, McDonald would have been nice, but since Club X has taken them with their lower pick, we just can't pass on the rest of the talent that is there'.

I wouldn't worry about what clubs like North, Melbourne and GWS do. They are shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic, IMO, because their culture is rotten to the core. Borne from a feeling of self-entitlement that is not warranted.

wrt to fs bidding, I think only the highest bid is announced. It's been us probably because our draft position was ideal without paying overs for such a bid. I find it very difficult to believe that other clubs wouldn't have bid for the likes of Daniher and Viney.

Sorry if this has already been put out there but if they strip Essendon of points does that mean all teams below them gain 1 spot on ladder position, or do they return the points to the clubs they have beaten ?

I don't understand how Jobe can still be allowed to play after admitting taking a banned substance, or does this fall under the dob yourself in policy the AFL has?

Anyone hear 'Llydo' on footy classified last night?

The guy is a bumbling idiot. Every single state he mentions he get's wrong.
He ran past my mates and I Saturday before the game. We gave him a "Lloydy" he turned to us with a surprised look and a grin like he was asking himself "how do they know my name?" Did lol

There are no other teams

He keeps playing because the AFL have prioritised issues such as pinching and removing the bump as far more crucial than acting on players injecting themselves with banned substances. It makes sense.

Can suck it!

NORTH Melbourne veteran Brent Harvey has told AFL investigators he lost count of how many times Fremantle tagger Ryan Crowley pinched him in Sunday's clash at Patersons Stadium.
Giving evidence at the Tribunal on Tuesday night, he said it happened "about 300 times".
Hard not to laugh at this. Brent Harvey really is a little girl.

But to be fair, so is Crowley, hence the pinching.

300 times, though? That breaks down to 75 times a quarter. That breaks down to around two and a half times a minute. That means a pinch every 24 seconds.

I would be surprised if it happened 300 times.
