**** off Geelong, they can give overs for Stanley & take unders for Christensen but expect us to cough up a best 25 player & decent mid for pick 60? Pick in the 35-45 bracket or they can gtfo.

The deal for Beams was good but I'd still rather keep Beams if given a choice. As has been stated ad nauseam, you never get full value for a gun in their prime. Plus Collwd already have a few drafts worth of good kids so they don't really need more now. Would much rather keep their prime players.

The fact that NM coughed up Greenwood for the #25 does make it a whole lot better for Collwd though.

I think Collingwood are the clear winners for me so far. Better to have Varcoe than have Harry O hanging around your club, pick 25 for Greenwood is a big win, and to extract 5 + 25 + crisp out of a player who wanted out in Beams is another win in my opinion. I think Beams is a bit overrated, he might provide a boost for Brisbane from a marketing point of view especially in the wake of Browns retirement, they need this to get people to there games but i just feel they've given up more than they should've.
