I absolutely hate how the Dogs are allowed to have someone run up to the mark to prevent the quick play on, and then run back outside of 5 to keep moving around.

The three second rule was supposed to allow a player in the contest to have the chance to move away before being called to stand. Not to allow someone to run up and prevent the play on option.
