I think unless you’re that way inclined, it’s unfair to comment on the impact it would have on the player who it was directed at or a player who is in fact gay, heard it.

Just like a non Indigenous person cannot and wouldn’t understand the impacts it would have.

I’ve played sport my whole life and have never once thought about throwing any kind of insult to someone’s sexuality or race. Just goes to show what kind of human you are if you do.

Any less than 5 game suspension is insulting to that group of people.

I think John Ralph had a good point. Has Adelaide done any extra work/training to ensure its players don't use this type of language after so many suspensions? He likened it to tackle practice to prevent sling tackles and the subsequent suspensions.

Just heard them talk about this on SEN-MELB - they absolutely destroyed the argument.

I just can’t see how the AFL booking Snoop, the Finlayson suspension or finals equals “extenuating circumstances”
