Port players that annoy you most

We all go to the games and we have our favourite players but who are the players that annoy you most from your team.

For me it would have to be Josh Francou. He drives me insane, forever going forward kicking points or turning the ball over to the opposition, he is just so annoying.

Another player that really annoyed me as well was Stephen Daniels, thank god we got rid of him during the off season. He would always complain when taken off even though he had just had 5 goals kicked on him, no wonder Choco gave him the chop, I would have done it long ago.

To a lesser degree Adam Kingsley and Brayden Lyle annoy me. Adam doesn't seem to have the energy to keep up with the play and Brayden just doesn't seem to get enough of the ball these days.

Last of all one player really annoyed me when he left a few years ago, Jarrod Cotton really spat the dummy when he was dumped and obviously showed he was no team player. Also who does Donald Dickie think he is, placing a price on his head before the National Draft, what an idiot!

The player i despise most of all is Brayden Lyle. He constantly turns the ball over. I did not see him last season man up once, he would always be 30-50m away from his man. He never chases...he may do the hard yards in training, but hes slow and bloody useless at tackling. His foot skills and decision making is appaling. Never have i seen a player kick the ball to 1-on-3 contests so much or aim for a port player and kick it 20m over his head onto the chest of a opponent.

Francou annoys me cos he takes too long getting rid of the ball. His footskills were awful last year.

Daniels was shocking. The North game in sydney, he had all of norths score kicked against him up till halfway thru the second term!! He was a big liability.

Dickie annoyed me cos he made too many mistakes and was soft. Kingsley is a bit soft as well.

Tredrea pisses me off that he cant kick straight. He needs to take his hand out of his bank account and ontot he training track and learn how to kick frigin straight!

Can't believe the number of times Brayden Lyle turns over the ball, and gives away bad frees. He just doesn't seem to be aware of opponents near him

I have to agree with Lyle, He does turn the ball over a lot with poor disposal, but I have to admit he does play his heart out ever week though. Francou sometimes annoys me mainly because he holds onto the ball too long, but the last couple of games last year he appeared to dispose of the ball quicker.

How can you say any Power players annoy you? They're all soooo sexy and coool.

I love them all, especially Tredders. And Francou is so sexy and cool.

Port players are the best in the competition.

I think if you read carefully you will find that 'annoy' was the word, this was 3 years ago mind you.

Francou has turned into a much better player for the games he has played since then, lets hope that he comes back as great a player after two knee reconstructions.

Mine changes weekly. Some games the "burger" boys drive me insane, other times it's Poults or Schoey. The first two because you know they have the talent, the second two because they don't.

Brayden Lyle? Stephen Daniels? Donald Dickie? All ancient history I would have thought. God they must have been anoying though, if your all still hating them.

Also, Francou? What the....... He annoys me as a Crows fan because he gets way too much freakin ball.

Hell if these guys are the only players anoying you, I think you have it pretty sweet.

Ah. Yes, Tredrea used to annoy me too with his kicking. Thankfully that got fixed! Of those still on our current list - Kingsley in the backlines was torture to watch. P. Burgoyne when he had regular brain fades. Thankfully the number has decreased in 2003 and again in 2004. Hopefully 2005 is brain freeze free.

This season it was :
Wakelin - outmuscled is one thing, but seeing him beaten for pace by the likes of Carey and Sav Rocca was embarrassing.
Schofield - kick it FORWARD!
Thurstans - the apathy too many times.

And personally it's often amusing and/or interesting to drag up threads from a long time ago and see how our or others opinions on issues have changed.

I remember him early on getting caught heaps holding the ball because he was too slow getting rid of it, or tried the "Schoey shuffle"!

Can't wait to see the dynamic duo of Primus and Francou in 2005!

Fatty Dew annoys me more than most, also the thrust although only because he keeps Damon out of the first 22.

Francous foot skills for a long time were pretty pathetic. Even in his best two seasons in 01 and 02 his foot skills were pretty average. He never seemed to be able to kick the ball properly. Always kicked wobblers.

Stephen Daniels my god. How this man played so many games for us I dont know. Generally always got a big score kicked on him week in week out.

Lyle...used to love him but yes his last two years for us were terrible. His skills went downhill very quickly.

Tredrea definately came good.

Noone at the moment really bugs me as much as Daniels or Lyle did...maybe Schofield and is stop start crap. The most annoying thing at the moment about our players and how we play would be how someone always runs behind the player after a mark/free kick looking for a handball. Often gets us into trouble.

Players that annoyed me in 2004......
Schoefield, falls to ground once too often for my liking.
Thurstans just for being Thurstans. He has the whole Jethro from Beverley Hillbillies thing going and it is starting to grate.
Have to say Brogan occasionally frustrates the hell out of me especially with lack of maturity and the hissy fit he threw this year was not only stupid, but hilarious. What saved him was the look on Roger James face when he tried to explain the situation.
Bishop and or Montgomery also on the odd occasion. Montgomery for his bowing of the head when falling into packs - but have to say he truly redeemed himself in the finals, so all is forgiven.
