Its pretty funny how Port supporters go on about the Crows being a franchise team, yet the Crows have a longer history than the Power do.

Poor old Power, wear that teal with pride. :thumbsu:

It's supposed to be navy.

Has always looked like your classic chesty bonds blue singlet with red trim - except in the nineties when they wore that hilarious lycra wetsuit.
Norwood are actually navy blue and red

West Adelaide are the SANFL black and red's
Rightio....must have been the light

I like that red and black one better ;)

But seriously, they should be allowed to wear it in heritage round (unless they play Collingwood away) because look at the Hawks one from a few years back which was basically the same as the Bulldogs one, plus the Swans and Dockers have basically the same one. Cant hurt to use it once a year.

Many a Premiership has been witnessed by this Port supporter seeing players wearing the good 'ol B/W.

We'll make the same tradition with our new colours, that is, success!

Port Adelaide has always been and will always be synonymous with success!

The sneaky buggers were wearing black and white socks as part of their 'away' strip against Freo last week.

I reckon the pies rabble should be looking over their shoulder a bit more. Especially when their Club gets their whole squad to wear red jumpers in Perth today at training.

Whilst to me, Port Adelaide Power is a new club of a decade or so, I don't see the problem in them choosing their uniform?

Chelsea, Everton, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Leicester...they're all allowed to play in royal blue?

Port Adelaide joined the AFL, so we had to make the compromise, which is fair enough.

We now have the black, white, teal and silver, they are our AFL colours, and I for one am proud every time I see my club represented on the field in the club colours.
Looks like a Borat outfit, not a Port one. Collingwood would like to order 40 of them though.

Port Power in the AFL are not black and white, deal with it you inbecile. Never have been in this league and never will, this has been done to death and nothing withh change aslong as their is a Collingwood Magpies around.
Haha, nice level of energy there bro!!

Ummmm, that's a ridiculous statement. The league forces the club to change their socks from straight black when playing away; the teal socks were tried but failed so the next step was a stripe... and let's not forget that both black and white are club colours.

Oh kiddo, please don't use words you cannot spell.

I'm happy with the Power colours as they stand but I definitely have an issue with the club not being able to utilise the black/white strips for HERITAGE rounds. The whole point of the round is to visit the past for 1 week and respect a club's origins/roots... for Collingwood to put up any opposition on that one is just plain pathetic.

No need to be defensive. It's common knowledge the dispute between the two Clubs about which Club should be in Black and white.
By wearing black and white sox in an away strip stuck me as a desperate angle to appear as though your Club has some sought of divine right to wear the black and white.

By doing so will alienate you even more from the SA football followers who would like to follow an AFL team without changing allegiance from their current suburban side.
