Its a great shame for the AFC, we might actually have to invest in a marketing department now.
Too true. Choco was a one-man marketing department for the Crows. Now we have to attract the masses to us, rather than having him herding them in our general direction. Its a great shame for the AFC, we might actually have to invest in a marketing department now.
Interesting to note the Herald Sun is providing more up to date coverage of the events than Adelaide Now - Rucci must really be cracking it!

Usually in these jump or be pushed situations there is a negotiated golden handshake. I don't see why this would be any different.Looks to me like Choco has used his native cunning to come out on top. By forcing Port to sack him now, he gets his contract paid out (rather than a negotiated settlement if he quit) AND is available for any new jobs that emerge this year - Weagles? Essendon? (Knights was defending his relationship with his players this week, and Williams has history there).
In the meantime he can trot up to GWS to back-up Sheedy, and if nothing else occurs will probably finish up head coach there.

Matthew Primus as caretaker coach.
That's no fun
I've always liked Primus. What a quandary when watching Power games now.
I was thinking today, what if next season Nathan Bassett was appointed as Port's coach? Would Adelaide fans start to barrack for them a little? A moral dilemma for all of us. I reckon my thoughts towards them would change and TBH I'd probably start going to watch some of their games (not lunchtime starts though, or Saturday afternoon, or against dud teams, or when there's wet weather, or when they've been losing matches... I'd want to fit in with the locals).
