Game Day Port v GWS

It's just over 12 hours until bounce down on the Gold Coast where we are hosting GWS. As I type, our players are in Adelaide whilst our opponents are in Sydney.

What a bizarre world we are living in ... not bizarre enough for us to get the points though. Giants by eleventy.

One week is a lot of time on footy.

Everything points to a loss. Still, it's when everything is pointing to a loss that Port wins while giving us a "where was this team last week?" performance. I have no idea on what will happen.

Head says "Giants win;" but Heart has picked Port. I trust my brain the most, but I can't go against my heart:

Port, by either 1 or 19.

Hinkley to declare after the win, "Cam Sutcliffe will captain this club sooner, rather than later."
Sutcliffe has already been captain...

I don't really think today will show us much at all. GWS are so poorly coached we could come out and beat them with some basic structure, or their talent could whack us by 10 goals.

As we have now for the last 6 years, we keep our fingers crossed that this will finally be the day it clicks. Gluttons for punishment.

Three multiple choice options:
1. We win by 4 goals leading all day
2. Dozen lead changes and GWS win by less than a goal
3. Limp start to game and GWS win by 6 goals plus.

Watching this team last 5 years, who knows. 3 probably most likely. But due to a lowering of expectations in media, 1 just as likely. Our mids must at least break even and our damaging forward line needs to be just that. Dixon and Marshall need to fire a shot. Burton back will help...

I hope Butters plays on Shaw as announced. Slots into A Monfries role nicely. Be interesting who gets Greene. DBJ more than Hallett. Lycett far more suited to a Mumford style ruck contest. Feeling a little more confident. Rozee is due...

Heath Shaw is still going around? Should have retired years ago

if we win this im willing to give Hinkley a little slack but a loss will just mean more of the 'same-old same-old'. It will just consolidate the fact we are a bunch of downhill skiers who like playing well when things are on our terms, thats why Hinkley must go because he hasnt got the ability to coach it out of the team
