Visentini, were the main highlights for me.
Feel the opposite about Vis. Didn't take a step this year. Got some games under his belt but that was it. Form at SANFL level wasn't where it should've been and AFL level form didn't improve either. He's still young, but if he's to be the future he needs to take a couple steps forward.

The second the succession plan was announced is when I wrote the season off. Not bothered about results now but the little positives we can take forward into 2026. Berry was alright yesterday, Lorenz good to. I don't think Lords going to cut it at AFL level but happy to give him a year under Carr to see if there's any improvement. Allir woeful, send him in for knee surgery. Mead awful, Not sure what some see in Liddy, wouldn't even keep him as depth. DBJ garbage. I'd pick an overweight, underwhelming Rioli over him

Fair enough. I liked his Carlton game and that’s probably the last memory I have of his season before he got injured against Brisbane.

I’m not enamoured by Liddy but he’s ahead of others on our list. Would be interesting to see if he can elevate his game after what is hopefully an intense preseason.

DB useless

Liddy so far off of AFL standard

Burgoyne is worrying me

McEntee i can appreciate that he has mongrel and tries hard, but he isnt gifted with any afl traits

Mead is similar to McEntee but a midfield version

Sinn has no offensive game whatsoever and had a absoloute mare, most of the season has been good defensively though

My Bias towards Butters often clouds my judgement, but he was so shit yesterday

Boak got so many touches but often kicked the ball straight to the opposition, looked to centre it into the corridor and kicks to players who are flatfooted leading to a cats player interecpt marking boaks kick

Im worried about quite a few players, esspeicaly Sinn and burgoyne

There's no signs of leadership or strategy on this team. Butters was shadowed by some Irish nerd and nobody tried laying a block or chopping him out a cheap touch. Butters didn't really help himself either - try tackling someone if you can't get the footy.

Overall they're a rabble, understandably with the likes of Hinkley still at the helm. WHAT HAPPENED TO STEPPING DOWN YOU RAT campaigner!?

The whole 'stepping down when finals are out of reach' was fake news from an apparent ITK poster who makes up his information. Not going to name him as last time I did I was reported and threatened with my account being suspended.

I will say it again, but if Butters was in a marking contest against Mullins and not a ball up, he would be paid countless free kicks as Mullins had no intent for the ball. Hinkley wont call this out but the tactics are surely illegal.

Butters copped a lot of heat and cheap hits anytime he got near the ball, yet not one team mate tested out the ribs of his tagger or for that matter anyone who went near him with intent, ie anyone in a Geelong guernsey.

Absolute rabble. Fallen apart at the seams and guts has been spewed out all over the floor.

Only up to Hinkley to call that out during the game, no point afterwards, got to let the players sort it out.

One tactic they used was to have Butters about 10 metres behind the centre bounce, essentially out of the play......

If a blokes within 5 metres of the ball he is fair game, even better if he only has eyes for an opponent. There’s a tactic allowed in AFL called intimidation.

That is only the case if your team is in possession of the football. Mullins was shepherding Butters out of the contest when Geelong were not in possession. That is illegal.

I would advocate for the Club to call it out with the umpiring department, just like McRae did with the tagging of Daicos and Bevo did for the scragging of Darcy. McRae and Bevo have got the results they wanted from those approaches (which makes me sick but if you can't beat them, join them).

Didn't watch a second of it. Any of the younger guys look ok? Purely looking at the stat sheet no-one looks to have stood out, but thats not always a true reflection
As Ford said Berry showed composure. But as so many of our recruits have been he's undersized. Lorenz had some good moments early in the game despite Boaks best effort to get in his way. I lost interest & went for a walk after half time. Can't comment on Whitlock, just didnt watch closely enough.

Perfectly legal to shephered or block anyone except a ruck or someone going for a mark within 5 metres.

That last one, going for a mark is one example of why the crows take so many intercept marks, they block out key forwards trying to contest a mark and the loose sits there uncontested. No wonder Lynch and Darcy were taking shots at them. Very poor umpiring to not call it out.

At a centre bounce essentially the umpires should rule there is to be no blocking or shepherding outside of the centre circle and then once bounced within 5 metres of the ball irrespective of possession.

Need to make the umpires aware of it during the game, no point complaining about it after. Captain is allowed to approach the umpires.

Disgusting given how much Butters has given to the club

That would require someone who actually has:
1. Footballing knowledge
2. A brain that can articulate clearly & state their case forcibly
3. A person who has enough respect for the PAFC & doesnt have a conflict of interest

I can't think of anyone in our leadership that meets these criteria.
