Every team that gets the number 1 pick get their share of bandwagon fans, They're usually gone after a month or two.

I love the blazers. Always been a big NBA fan although I had never followed a team because they change so much. In 2006 I lived in Oregon for a while and started following the blazers since. Whilst I was there I remember how excited my mates were about getting Aldridge and Roy, boy were they right! It's all looking good for the future of the blazers. I'm really hoping ESPN play a few blazers games next seaon with Oden back.

....By the way, is Oden able to win the rookie of the year next year seeing as he has played 0 mins? or does being on a list count as your rookie season?

Yep.

I can't see him winning it though after coming back from microfracture - should split time with Przybilla til the all-star break I think.

part of me wishes I went for the Blazers. Recently, a mate asked me who they should follow in the NBA and I told him the Blazers...youngest team in the league, draft policy of only drafting and trading for blokes with their head screwed on straight, and Brandon Roy.

Only thing is your in a tough Western Conference, where GSW can't make the playoffs.

Atlanta Hawks have that title after they got rid of heaps of old dead weight in the Bibby deal.

yep. its a fact atlanta are the youngest team. not sure if i like it being bandied around as a trait of a side as such (not saying you're doing it). afl persons have a terrible habit of saying "we're a young side" etc.

Hahaha my brother is a Blazers fan so its more of a suck shit thing, I think we took the youngest team award away from them and gave them the longest current playoff drought award!

In all honesty I have taken a pretty big interest in Portland as a result of my brother going for them and they look like a very exciting side. Might not make the playoffs for a couple of years (just becuase the west is so strong). But plenty to look forward to.

Was a great hear to be a Blazers fan. Next year should be better!

I recommend getting on the ESPN radio broadcasts of games. They are free and you can chose to listen to the Portland broadcaster or the opposition. The Portland broadcasters are hilarious and practically ignore the other team. I wish AFL had that set up.

List management is going to be a massive challenge in the coming month. The Oregonian is a good place for all things Blazers.

I love this idea of voting on keeping players or not... http://blog.oregonlive.com/blazers/you_be_the_gm/

haha well i'll admit it, i started really getting into the NBA around the finals time when the Heat won it and i'm not proud of it, but I'm a bandwagon fan. (I later realised it wasn't a very big bandwagon to jump on to). It's OK tho, i've stuck with us this year.

I actually bought a Brandon Roy jersey from the NBA store which I am in love with!

Sprung again...?

Viewers choice has been amazing as of late. in the past, 1 game has been televised, and you can take it or leave it.

I might jump on stoke next season. Gotta love those scenes from the 1-1 draw with leicester.

Back to the topic...I've really been impressed with LaMarcus Aldridge this year, possible All-Star next year provided he continues along the same improvement lines???

With Oden back next season, and a top 14 draft pick, what are your chances for the playoffs? I know it's early, but there's alot to be excited about.

What type of player are you likely to pick up in the draft?
