South Belgrave Football Club, affiliated with the Eastern Football League, requires the services of a Head Trainer for the 2017 EFL season.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to implement a total player management program and will need to also recruit, lead and manage the training staff through positive leadership, good communication and strong organizational skills.

The position would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced trainer that can bring their own team and implement a professional support program to our club.

Working closely with advising the coaching staff on player fitness and availability, essential duties will include injury management, taping, hydration, sports massage and managing and maintaining the Medical Room to a professional standard.

Minimum qualifications required are a SMA Level 1 Sports Trainer, Level 2 First Aid, current CPR and a Working with Children Check.

The role will entail up to 2 nights per week from October for pre-season with two nights per week plus Saturday match day during in-season. The team will need to cover U/19's, Reserves and Seniors during match day with the Head Trainer responsible for the overall management.

Total trainers team package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The South Belgrave Football Club is seeking applications from interested candidates with the desire and ability to work with and further develop a talented group of players to achieve their full potential.

We also seek an U19 coach with a passion for working with, teaching and developing young men.

UNDER 19S MENS COACH

La Trobe University Football Club are seeking applicants for the position of the reserves for the 2017 season to work with Senior Coach Alan Ezard

Based on-campus at La Trobe University in Bundoora, the club is entering an exciting year of football on the back of a successful 2016 season in the VAFA. After both senior and reserves made the preliminary final, LTUFC is seeking a motivated coach with an emphasis on the ability of the following traits:

· AFL Level 1 Coaching accreditation (or desire to achieve)

· Develop and motivate Under 19s men’s footballers

· Ability to attract players from university residential facillites

· Align to club goals and vision


· Develop player skills and general football ability with a visionto play senior football

· Work in conjunction with dual AFL premiership player and Senior Coach Alan Ezard

· Continue to uphold the club’s reputation as an enjoyable place for young men to socialise and exercise through participation in football

As both La Trobe University Football Club and the greater university community celebrate 50th anniversaries in 2017, the club has high expectations for its future and is looking forward to developing a strong partnership with the men’s coaching staff to continue to grow as a club.

With the recent announcement of the University pledging funds to an upgrade of the sports precinct on-campus, there is considerable scope for the club to be able to provide a high-quality football environment for the long-term.
