I mean, that's what he is.
I liked Hickey's game a lot. Gave us a different look when up forward. A couple of contested grabs. Led the team for pressure acts.

People being to harsh on hickey, people are spoiled by NicNat, The guy has been shouldering the ruck all year its his first final ever, Ruck is a hard position, it doesnt help you have a freak next to you

+ JK has kicked 48 goals this year. No mean feat when he's taken most of his shots from Karrakatta.

+ Cripps is back. Two of those set shots were ridiculous.

+ Jetta is creative, evasive and his defensive work is the best it's ever been.

+ The usuals, Shuey, Nic Nat (when playing), Hurn, Yeo, Redden better than normal, Ryan, Shep etc.

+ Barrass didn't face a hell of a lot of pressure but didn't cough anything up, should be good for his confidence. Schofield unlocks that backline.

Positives
Not going to focus on individuals in + as most have been covered by others.
Ball movement much quicker last night = more space in forward line = easier scoring.
Fewer up and under kicks - apart from the usual suspects.
Defence was 'tighter' last night.
NN makes a huge difference - seemed to result in fewer kicks along the line.
More aggression at ruck stoppages and centre bounces. Especially when NN was there.

Negatives
Sheed is still not in great form. Got a bit of it but didn't make a couple of tackles which needed to be made. Not sure if it is effort or speed.
Sheed also sold Nelson and a couple of others into trouble. Seems to lack some awareness.
Hutch hmmmmmm. One job and didn't do it very well.

Another positive
When we 'turn it on' we can score very quickly. Did it against Tiges and Hawks and again last night.

And pleased to see we didn't 'sleep at the wheel' as much last night.

Hasn't been mentioned yet, but Darling's eyes lit up when he saw the chance to hit Merrett moments after the hair pull.

Pretty sure it was Merrett anyway.

Darling's big hit there, Shuey's massive tackle on the wing. Big hits are awesome to see.
