I watch one game delayed and nobody makes a thread, come on campaigners fire up.

Positives:

• 30 tackles in the last
• SPS proving his worth and skill - get him on the ball more or manufacture ways to get him near it. Played HFF and pressed up to the ball after the centre bounce, he was certainly at a lot of ruck contests around the ground. Seven tackles last week, six this week.
• Greg Clark more time at the coal face, 10 tackles thanks very much. Eight centre bounces.
• Darling’s first half yet again a tone setter. Last week he scored or directly assisted our goals to half time, same again this week.
• 10 clearances, eight i50s for Shuey. They seemed to try some different things with him but when we were going it was often due to him out of the middle. If he just play in the guts at least he can play well.
• Still like Hough, still like West.
• Rucks worked really hard and didn’t let a beast like ROB dictate the game.
• Four centre bounces attendances for Gaff, halved for the second week in a row. Thought he was very good today and weirdly prominent forward of centre for Andrew Gaff

• Game could have gone one or two ways as the Crows kicked away to 46+ points away. Dug in. It’s just badly needed that we feel something resembling competitive footy.

Negatives:

• Start the game down 31-0 and lose by 31. That’s the game right there. Perfectly competitive and watchable after that.
• Harry Edwards has gone backwards at a rate of knots. Persist, because why not, but he’s entering cringe whenever he gets the ball territory.
• Three centre bounces for West, zero for SPS.
• Nelson. Love that he’ll fly the flag for the boys but had about his most butcherous game of all time today.
• Reality setting in re: JK. So much fun watching him kick snags and he’s got a hot streak in him every now and then, but the legs are gone. Fade him out and give Dixon a run, eventually give JWilliams a proper run. Home games only for JK I think, farewell the great man.

I will migrate all posts across that were put in the game day thread post match. Four day rest for the boys and then back into it with hopefully a very clear vision for what we want to get out of the back half of the year.

Adelaide have been competitive this year. We have not.

They got to within a goal of Geel at GMHBA in the 3rd qtr and bad kicking the last few weeks has stopped them being even closer in games.

Anyone thinking we'll "flick a switch" is deluded.

Crows to get their kicking boots on (after being dragged through the media here in SA about it this week) and win by 44 in a low scoring wet stormy crapfest.
