+ HoneyBadger35 tipped us to lose

- his tips for the rest of the season are ruined
it might just be the eagles at home
jesus these concussions, may have 2 out next week :(

Kiss of death, never in doubt. Tipping Geelong to win next week so bet the mortgage on the mighty Coasters.

Yeah I feel like I saved myself a lot of stress and anger.

Yeah, Sheed kicked three goals in two minutes against the Pies, and we got to watch Oscar Allen kick five. It was awful.

Zac Langdon Iam getting Ainsworth vibes not AFL quality.
Zac is just to slow for AFL football is always rushed because he is to slow.

Bander was good again
Redden was outstanding all game
Kelly and Sheed where good and kicked goals need more goal kicking mids

The bad

Backward handball we turn this handball over more often than not
We need more run and carry from the backline, we look so good when we have overlap and run
from the backline.

Sheppard needs to start showing a more attacking game for us with some run

Negative for West Coast would have to be the impending suspension of Tim Kelly. High contact, went past the ball, left the ground probably looking at 2-3 weeks. Thoughts?
You never know i guess.
Whats your thoughts on keenes intentional attempt to trip kennedy?

I forgot about Jamie Cripps.
His ground ball fumbling is really hurting us, he is not clean.

Turn it up

We were rubbish

North lost by 21 goals two weeks ago. That’s rubbish.

We were fine. We navigated an ok game pretty well. The sky didn’t cave in.

Some great tackles, the likes of which people beg for on here. Allen and Darling had 10 goals between them. Brander continues to grow. Sheed took the piss. It was fun. It was fine.

Since quarter time when we were...

*checks notes*

...trailing by two goals.
we have PTSD from watching a lack of effort get us rolled, while our forwards kicking at something like 75% or more kept us in the game.
early crow is early, and they switched it on, but we cant have a team that needs a quarter to warm up. our bad quarters are rough :(

Worse thing I’ve ever had to sit through

Really impressed with Witherden
Can play

Preseason a few posters and loudmouths declaring he’s no good.

Pleased for him

Positives:
Allen
Sheed
Darling
Witherden
Duggan

Negatives:
Vardy
Cripps continually fumbling
Our last quarter fade outs

We will take the points, but have plenty to work on. And unless it's a "break glass in case of emergency" situation, Vardy shouldn't be playing in our senior team again. After what he has served up this year, to be recalled and to put up 2 possessions in a game of football simply isn't good enough.

+ Duggan sans mullet is starting to put together a really nice body of work this season
+ Oscar Allen
+ Darling went beast mode (briefly)
+ Witherden, just wow.
+ Redden, credit to him he rolled back the clock tonight. I’d just about written him off and he proved me wrong.
+ Oscar Allen
+ The melts have kept me entertained yet again
+ solid win despite missing 5 of our best 22
+ Have I mentioned OSCAR ******* ALLEN yet?

- the fade outs still give me nightmares

414 disposal to 339.

51 tackles to 36.

51 one percenters to 45

39 clearances to 31.

6 bounces to 1.

136 marks to 81.

Seems a good result in the effort and intensity stakes, with a decent ability to get out and run for a team too tall to even fit on the white board.

forgotten positive: vardy had one HOTA, think it was sheed, almost dropped my drink.
2nd positive vardy getting dropped for... ill take anyone?

Also, where exactly was Brander playing this evening, was it wing/half back?

Whenever he was, he has looked good the last few weeks so kudos to him. I truly didn't think he was going to make it so let's hope this form continues. He seems to look better when he is sitting behind the ball, and I could definitely see him as a mobile half back who is assigned the third tall forward
