-Sheed being told in black and white that he needs to work on the defensive side of his game, only to come back into the side and lay a single tackle in junk time.

Which means despite the coachs warnings, he has been out tackled by Chris Masten of all people (who managed to lay three)

Thats embarrassing.

Dom prefers warmer weather to lay tackles as sometimes contact in the colder weather stings a little.

Masten was senational
Duggan was very good
JD finding his feet again. 3.3 goals, 18 touches, 11 marks, 4 contested marks and 10 score involvements.

Game was borning

Too cute at times
Wasn't ruthless enough
Skills at time

ABC callers dissected the Hurn bump and reckoned he'd be bloody stiff to face MRP action.

Negative:

Most people agree Hurn couldn’t have done much to avoid that contact, so he’ll probably get 1-2 weeks.

Sheed’s performance is really concerning. Just doesn’t fit in the structure. Even Ainsworth showed more, Partington was also impressive v Claremont.

All of a sudden we have trade bait.

Masten hit more targets today than 41 out of the 43 other players on the pitch (24 effective disposals). Only Jetta and Gaff had more effective disposals.

Your perception of the game is so clouded by these archaic notions of Masten, it's ridiculous.

Darling was massive.

Entire midfield unit -Sheed was quality.

Vardy/Lycett performed well.

Jetta had one of his best games.

Masten played decent so we’ll get another week of salt.

Hurn, Sheppard, Duggan and Cole all have that hard-edge campaigner about them and all can take a grab. All are tidy kicks as well.

Big shout out to Cripps for today's game. It was really apparent at the game just how much work he was doing off the ball. Really thrilled to see him get some reward, too.

The conditions (tricky wind) made it difficult kicking for goal at times - I was at the game & thought I was going to get blown away at one stage.

- Lecras. Still exhibits the odd dumb selfish play. Hope he can make a real impact in the finals
- Masten. Worked hard but lacks class and is sloppy with the ball, and does not break lines
