I think Dew is a hard taskmaster who doesn't reward his players for losing and Simmo doesn't know most of the gold coast player's names (I certainly don't).

Sheed had three very important tackles in the first quarter alone.
They may not have ended in stoppages so technically are not "recorded tackles" but they were more effective than getting a stat in the T column because you happen to be sitting on the opposition player with the ball when the umpire blows the whistle.
You've got to look beyond the stats sheet which is clearly misleading and watch the game for yourself.

A tackle is awarded if you cause a player to dispose of the ball ineffectively or not at all. Its not just awarded when cause a stoppage.

Tackling was good
Defenders ran and linked up
We bounced back well from the Geelong and Port thrashings

Negatives

After halftime getting only 1 goal in nearly 50 minutes of footy was poor but late goals in the last quarter at 23 and 25 minute marks iced the game ..
