Autopsy Positives and Negatives vs Hawthorn

We’re going back to back.

+ Another gutsy fight back. When will people stop doubting us? Played the entire second half down a man on the bench, in the sheeting rain, at the G. Ran over the top of the Hawks.
+ Jack Darling, unreal. Five goals and brought the winner to ground.
+ Shuey. Best fourth quarter he’s played, and that’s saying something given the Crows game.
+ Nic Nat’s back. Managed minutes, had to push through in the late stages of the fourth because of where the game was. He gives us an enormous lift.
+ Jetta. A few head scratchers but ballsy decision to go in the final minute and it paid off.
+ Liam Ryan, exceptional.
+ Nelson and Shep worked their tails off.
+ In: Barrass, McGovern

- JK’s goal streak is snapped :(
- Another game with three quarters and an enormous let down. Could have done us in the end. Needs addressing.
- Hutchings injury. That consecutive game list claims another victim, top five all done in the last three weeks.
- Rioli and Cameron quiet on a day you’d assume would suit them better than some others.

There’s some criticisms warranted but let the praise flow, that’s yet another gutsy statement win. If we make top four, I wouldn’t think any final would be beyond us.

Positives
- We won at the G in the rain.
- Fought and scrapped after the below average 3rd term.
- nic got through the game
- allen being so versatile is proving very handy
- shuey is a freak

Negatives
- 20mins of sleeping
- hutch injured

Good teams win ugly sometimes so shut the * up. We cant win by 8 goals every week and looks like millionaires

Won 3 quarters of footy. Broke the hoodoo against hawks at the G and now sitting third. I was hoping for a draw which would have basically made our poor percentage redundant for the rest of the season. Nic Nat improves our team. Should be full strength next week with TB and Gov back. Keep cameron for one more game in normal conditions, that was horrible playing conditions.

+

NN and Rioli blowing out some cobwebs.
McGovern fresh for the Derby.
We are the worlds best clutch side.
GWS & Adelaide results.

-
None.... this was always going to be tough (1st time I haven't placed a bet on a WC game this year because it was absolutely a raffle given the conditions).

That list was correct three weeks ago. * this.

Gutsy win, when we are close we win
Darling kicking another bag
NN getting through unscathed
A win in the wet at the G.

-
JKs streak. Started and stopped vs Hawthorn at the G
That 3rd quarter was as bad as we have played all year
Hutch injury
Gaffs kick and hopes are back
Hurns kick ins (this has been brewing for a while) he is so very predictable. I much prefer Jetta taking kick ins.

+ Darling the wet weather specialist
+ Shuey
+ Shep saved a few goals
+ Allen, seems to work into a defensive role. Shaky in the 1st, was huge in the last
+ Nelson did some good stuff
+ Gutsy win

- free kick Hawks, HOW MANY IN THEIR 50? Gotta be 15 at least. At least 10 of them bullshit and not given to us when the shoe was on the other foot
- Hutch injury
- Schoey out marked easily multiple times
- Duggan looked out of sorts
