There is some sort of disconnect with the mids.I dont see Shuey,Yo and Reddan all involved at the same time.One or the other seems to get stats but the rarely seem to be working in tandem.
Gaff and Sheed cant play in the same team if they play like that.We cant afford two slow left footers who lack penetration in their kicking.Gaff should stop running for handball receives on his non preferred.
Time for Darling to go back to WAFL and start working hard.That comment isnt based on one game.He may not have the game breaking ability of JD but on sheer work rate Waterman would be better value.
Vardy has to go back for a rest.Him and JD together is not working at the moment.OAllen should be tried as second ruck.Just coz two rucks worked last year doesnt mean it will work this year. We poineered the move so lets pioneer another move.
Simmo has been disappointing.whining about Optus surface is not a good look after a flogging.How about some moves.Jk up the ground,Gov into the middle.Really does it matter what may or may not work when your getting flogged.TRY SOMETHING!!!
We didnt work hard enough.We all know we have a very talented side but the heat is on us now now and a lot of players are not gritting their teeth.Slow to leave their man,not taking risks.Shep as much as he played well was one of the worst culprits for not playing on quickly.I hardly saw a short kick into the middle from around the back pocket and flanks.Up the line we go.
Two lethal kicks in defence and all we got at kickouts was a 15m kick into the pocket.Was that being afraid to take a risk or was it nobody working hard to present.?
