I don't like how people were saying pre game the wet conditions would favour us because their talls would struggle. Stupid really seeing as our best players are mainly talls too so why wouldn't ours also struggle. I know I'm sulking but these losses are aeriously starting to affect my mental health.

- Simpson is the worst replacement for Woosha
- Bombing into forward 50, WTF?
- Priddis was best on ground?

Sorry buddy, don't meant to have a go

But clearly you don't remember us bombing it to Phil Matera when he was 1 on 3 in the goal square, at every kick into the forward line.

This has been going on for a bloody long time.

infuriating

Really cant see how Lycett is getting all +'es.
Maybe the game I was at was in some parallel universe!
Yes he jumped high, and yes he kicked a good long goal, and yes he took a couple of grabs.
BUT in my universe most of his knocks went straight to boys in red and white shirts and not to our advantage.
Smashing packs that we had advantage in.
He was slow and about as manoeuvrable as a Bedford truck.
What was really missing was his chase as his opposition counterpart ran off.

Must have been some sort of distortion in space time continuum running through Subi on Sunday!!

Becuase he is actually capable of creating a contest and has presence around the ground, unlike Cox now because this is what Dean Cox looks like now when he takes the field;

losing to a team that plays under a different set of rules is starting to get my goat

Might not be their fault but its nothing short of AFL endorsed CHEATING !!

McGinnity should get a few more gigs and hopefully stay on the list. Honestly, if the others played with his determination we would be a way better team.
Kennedy's rest will do him good and force us to look hard at the forward line.
Lycett is on a really positive upward curve and must be retained (although I worry it is too hard to keep him with better teams needing to spend on ruck department).

Lycett was great.

Take away his kick into Mike Pyke and that dropped mark and he was easily one of our best. How is that not a positive? Considering Cox constantly waved his arms about and appealed for free kicks, it was good just having a ruckman who jumped at the ball and won some contested possession.

Yeah i thought Lycett was really good as well, yes a couple of taps went down the throats of swans players but so do many of Nic's..
Really hope we hold onto him..

Disagree. Not a grade midfielder and not a forward, he's a WAFL midfielder with AFL strength and conditioning.

He's very good in the wet because it brings those around him down to his own level, he got a call up because of his game against Claremont in the rain. Q

I know he is not at all the most talented bloke on the list, but if the rest of the team played with as much determination as he does, we'd be in a better place. Maybe not a great deal better, but better nonetheless.

It might sound odd but we have improved from last years debacle

Positive for mine is we competed hard

eMac should be all Australian but I'm thinking he may miss because of where we finish on the ladder and most of the selectors are eastern staters

Is it just me or do we have some seriously dumb footballers on the team who always pick the obvious wrong answer in a multi choice question

A) Yes
B) Agree
C) No
D) 42

Lycett played his best game in the eagles jumper. It was the first time that I've noticed he was looking like he belonged out there
Emacs job on Buddy
Brennan's reflexes and pace in contested play

-ve's
The swans were clearly better at anticipating where the ball was going then us, especially coming out of congestion
Brennan's kick (to Rosa I think) from the half backline

Emac reading the play is second to none at the moment. He should easily be the all Australian full back.
