Mind you, Ablett missing that had a good deal to do with the defender having the presence of mind to cut in towards goal when it became clear Ablett would be first to the ball. If he just followed hot on GAJ's hammer, he would have been chasing the guy all the way to the goal square.

Guys,

This is in no way a dig as an opposition supporter; in fact I thought the way you guys held on against Gold Coast was extremely classy. I just felt a little unnerved when Adam Simpson headed down to the sidelines for the last few minutes of the game and stood in silence? I know this may only be taken negatively; but I felt it might have added more to become a little more involved in the game and spurring them on etc. There were a few occasions when he stood there shaking his head and it wasn't until the siren went that he cracked a grin.
I'm actually a fan of the guy, but was just a little bizarred out by that.

I took it as a huge positive. First time he had done something like that and it worked.
