Elliot has a lot of competition in Bruest, Wingard, Dahlhaus, Gray, Smith, Matera, Bird and Ballantyne. Maybe someone like Gray also, though he's played more as a HFF. I'd have to put him in the top 3 best performed small forwards this season - Elliot, Bruest, Wingard. Probably my favourite player on our list currently and I would be happy just for him to continue his form for the rest of the year (which would probably secure him AA anyway).

Beams and Pendles have been extremely consistent, and I personally think Beams would be leading the Copeland to this point. Both a chance at AA, for sure. As a first year player, I fear that Langdon won't get the credit he deserves. He does face extremely stiff competition for a HBF or BP spot, though.

I wouldn't call Beams a lock. You can make a case for a lot of midfielders.

The only 2 midfielders that have been better than Beams imo are Ablett and Pendlebury, and maybe Kennedy.

Pendlebury, Beams if form stays the same will make the team. If elliot keeps up a 2+ goal a game average while keeping up his efforts up field will make the 40 man squad with a chance to make the 22. Langdon making the team or the squad? hes been awesome but the odds are seriously stacked up against him, not saying hes no chance(would love for him to be AA) but lets be realistic. Frost if he continues his good form and continues to shut down players is a smoky for the 40 man squad.
