I guess we're in a lucky position atm: we've still got a young list and also contending for the flag.

So, we don't have cap issues like Saints and Cats plus players will want to stay on for the chance to win the premiership.

There always seem to be these unsubstantiated rumours about our young stars: remember that cr*p about Blight being homesick last year? That rumour gathered amazing momentum, and wasn't put to bed until, if I recall correctly, a family member joined the forum to post that Blighty was loving it at Collingwood and wasn't going anywhere.

Similar rumours abounded about Beams and the GC last year, were finally laid to rest when re signed a new contract this year.

The problem is that this exact same rumour was put to bed last year when his old man had to come on the board and deny it. If you don't have a solid source on a rumour it's not really worth posting - let alone making hypotheticals based on it.
