Was always headed that way if we didn't get a ready made replacement (or 2) for Danger. New coach only exacerbates things.

If we don't trade in anyone bar Hamption/Gore... I'm more disappointed in that outcome than the Danger trade.
Given today's signings unless we are prepared to move on couple of contracted players by either trade or delist its difficult to see us doing to many more trades

Out
Danger
JPod
Radar
Siggin
Martin
Sammy Kerridge
Wright - TBC

In
Gore
Hampton
Kelly
Rob

That gives us 3 live picks

So unless we are prepared to trade a Lyons, DMac or Henderson or delist a McGovern, Dear or Lowden we don't seem to have much more room to move

Could.. won't. The club doesn't do mid-season contract announcements for rookies if they don't intend to promote them to the senior list.
Lol said who? The announcements didn't say anything about a senior list spot. I remember Teague on radio at the time saying he wasn't sure if it was a rookie spot or senior for ROB.

I agree three mid to early first rounders is the go. That is 3 Brodie smiths, 3 levers etc, or the 1 Luke Hodge, Jack Watts...

I am still hopeful we bring in somebody with outside pace and run in the 21-24 year old bracket. Hope is dwindling however.

Why has the Andersen talk cooled? Haven't heard much to suggest we aren't still into him.

Pick 7, not top 5.
We've had 2 picks before pick 10 in our entire history, Meesen and Angwin. Both were more than 10 years ago. Both were major flops. But we shouldn't be scared because of a small sample size from a long time ago. A top 5 pick would be great.
We do have an extremely good history (recent and long term) of picks 10-15 though, so either is a good outcome.
were they Fantasia's time? Angwin could of been somethjing but enjoyed something else

Harley deal done! When did that happen? Kudos Fremantle, what a steal. Not a whole lot to risk for the potential upside.
Is it wrong to cross my fingers in the hope he goes completely off the rails?
