I agree three mid to early first rounders is the go. That is 3 Brodie smiths, 3 levers etc, or the 1 Luke Hodge, Jack Watts...

I am still hopeful we bring in somebody with outside pace and run in the 21-24 year old bracket. Hope is dwindling however.

Why has the Andersen talk cooled? Haven't heard much to suggest we aren't still into him.
According to Jake Niall we just arent the first in line with Anderson.

This trade week, any chances of a premiership in the next 3 years and the career primes of the few high quality players we have left evaporating like a fart in the wind, because our chief salesman apparently couldn't sell water in the desert. That's ok though, we've signed our enormous list of incredibly ordinary players to extensions.

What a waste of time.

We are definitely into him
I suspect we won't be getting him though, particularly if the remaining trades go as I expect them to.

I think we'll lose Kerridge and gain Hampton, for essentially the same value (it may even be a 3-way trade). We'll then trade our 2nd round picks to Sydney, for pick #14. We then go into the draft with 3 live selections - 9, 13, 14. No way we use one of those on Hartley. I doubt he'd survive all the way through to the rookie draft.

Is it really in our lists best interests to completely rebuild though? I would've liked another 21-22 year old.
