Firstly...
I think Horlin-Smith is a very serviceable player and would be a nice pick up but only with a first round pick that's a loss for us, add a second round pick then it's looking somewhat even.
Secondly...
This is the trade I believe we may win with, getting with of Wright would be amazing although losing ROB isn't the best thing for our depth but risks have to be taken to acquire something with the upside like Carlisle.
Thirdly...
Yarran shows plenty of upside at times and has what we need in speed and most of the time above average ball use but his last season or two has been shocking with the Blues. Don't get me wrong I think Hendo might as well go as he's similar to Wright in the dead weight category then Lyons who I reckon once he's given the opportunity at another club will kill it just as Gunston did with Hawthorn. 50/50 this one but no definites
Now finally this one pissed me off, Scharenberg is touted as a future gun. But in saying that he's played 1 game with a maximum of 6 by seasons out, so he's lost plenty and plenty of value. Kerridge has shown plenty of promise for a former top 30 pick but at least he's proven at the top level despite an injury riddled season. That draft pick Geelong would give us would be between 8-12 so effectively basically where Scharenberg was picked up 2 years prior after losing some value then we give up Kerridge too? Massive loss... Kerridge for Scharenberg then say a late exchange in picks where we give one slightly higher and get one slightly lower to make them happy would be closer to the mark.
