M Talia (194, 94) is only 1cm shorter than Daniel (195, 97) and 3kg lighter and coincidentally exactly same vital stats as Hartigan.

So could easily play CHB.

Michael is more a rebounding defender I believe ??
Certainly gets more of the ball. More reliable disposal than his brother, but not that much either.

I'm glad we are going deep with the KPD. Just look at West Coast's situation , they just have McGovern as the KPD....
And look at how much they're struggling

If we can improve the defensive qualities of our midfield our defence can thrive , think we have the players already down there and the youth

Like sound of Hartley more than M Talia as he has a point of difference being 197cm

Well theyve got Schofield as well, but were pretty unlucky losing McKenzie and Waters for the whole year.

McKenzie is equivalent of Talia. Very very very good player.
Also Brown....

It would be amazing if they can win on the weekend considering who they have lost

Their season was pretty much being labeled a write-off before it even started. Unbelievable that they're now in the Grand Final.

Not a fan of Talia or Seedsman but they're better than some of our worst players on the list
Like Lowden. Quality pickup he was. We should never trade with the Hawks again.
Seedsman is a gamble, I hope we don't pay too much. Straight swap for Kerridge, or whatever we get for CEY.

Pretty quick to write off Lowden. He's had a hugely injury-interrupted year and basically no pre-season.

I don't think Lowden will get a game for us, but next year I think he'll show more than Graham did.

You answered it for me. There's no point trading for a player that you deep down isn't good enough to play AFL.

I didn't mind picking up Lowden considering the position we were in with our rucks and I'm more than happy with picking up Cheney.

We paid stuff all for them. I don't know why we "should never trade with the Hawks again."

The Hawks didn't want Lowden, why should we? At all times we should be adding players to our list who we think are good enough to be best 22 players. There's no point going after depth players, you may as well draft a player with potential to over take them. Half my problem with the AFC's list management over the past decade is that we haven't taken a long term policy enough. There's a reason WC are in the GF this year and we aren't.

Having Daniel working closely with Michael will hopefully improve him as a shutdown defender..
I honestly think this will be an excellent get for the team. I see him as best 22 in place of Hartigan.

Not exactly breaking news

Tho was reported.last week through various media outlets

The lad shares the same manager as Danger
I'll take it a step further and say that coaches and players from the AFC met with Seedsman very recently.

Also in lieu of an officially appointed senior coach Campo is doing a lot with with list management and recruitment people right now, including heading meetings with targeted players. Not too worried about us not having the senior coach at the club yet. Campo is a more than decent temporary replacement.
