Serious question here. Then why didn't he play more games if he is such an elite talent? He would surely have been able to get gametime over someone like Hartung or maybe even Brad Hill when he was playing poorly.

For what it's worth I don't think we'll get him but curious as to why someone who is such an elite talent didn't play more AFL
Hey mate,

Yeah that's a very good question and I'll start by saying it has nothing to do with his talent.
Jed fell really sick last year with pneumonia, he eventually got that right and played some nab games and the all stars game ( where he dominated ) and early on he played senior footy. Unfortunately he hurt his should and missed months of footy, he also had othe niggles that kept him out and he only really played the tail end of the VFL season with absolutely no fitness and still really showed he was above the level ( look at his gf highlights for proof ).

Injuries and illness aside he'd be a lock in our midfield rotation. He is super tough, tackles like a machine, has elite skills and hits the score board, has a nice turn of foot and rarely makes a bad decision with the footy. The simple fact is he just hasn't had the tank and legs to play league footy and it's really not his fault.

He has a full pre season he is a lock starting 22 player for us.

Yeah now that I think about it, you're probably selling Jed cheap there.

Around what pick (doesn't have to be ours, just a general pick value) would you accept?
I'd say we would look at a pick between 5-15 but closer to 15 would be his value maybe a bit higher as the draft drops away steeply from around 12 onwards.

We got him cheap from GWS as he pretty much said he'd go home if he had to live in Sydney any longer, family is number 1 for Jed.

Listen champ, I am 67 years old. I live in Arlington Texas. My real name is Ronald Hubbard (yes, my parents didn't think when I was named). I am an oil plant operator and it is 3:55 am. I moved to the USA from Bedford Park 18 years ago.

If you think you can intimidate me over the Internet about something I've been dealing with since I was 5 years old, think again. I've had to deal with this for a long time, it doesn't worry me anymore. I didn't think some hero would become make it a big deal on the other side of the world. Normal people just accept it's a name and move on.

If it worries you that much, I will change my avatar. Have a nice day.
Quality over reaction, maybe try not using a photo of L.Ron Hubbard as an avatar in future 'champ'.

He was ordinary in the VFL GF which could have been tank or rust. And he had plenty of mates because Box Hill were ordinary.

Any highlights package for Jed generally doesn't go past 2013. He's been disappointing over the last two seasons because of injury and the NT hunting incident (i.e. freak Parvo Virus like incident) but he's not best 22 and hasn't been for a while.

We'd be getting a next gen Cheney. Which means he could still be valuable but he's not fit enough now to be a mid. He played small forward in the GF and kicked 2 or 3, missed at least one gettable set shot while i watched.
