He was ordinary in the VFL GF which could have been tank or rust. And he had plenty of mates because Box Hill were ordinary.

Any highlights package for Jed generally doesn't go past 2013. He's been disappointing over the last two seasons because of injury and the NT hunting incident (i.e. freak Parvo Virus like incident) but he's not best 22 and hasn't been for a while.

We'd be getting a next gen Cheney. Which means he could still be valuable but he's not fit enough now to be a mid. He played snall forward in the GF and kicked 2 or 3, missed at least one gettable set shot while i watched.
Pretty spot on, however behind Simpkin he was our 2nd best. Had 20 touches, 6 tackles and 2 goals plus score involvement s as a stay at home pocket. He had absolutely no tank for his last month of VFL, it was a huge effort.

If he has a free run at it injury wise he's 100% starting 22.

Shocking comparison with Cheney, one guy has elite talent and the other has very little but gets the very best out himself.

So you rate him highly
Jed Anderson ...very good ...ripped it up PS and thought he'd play at least half the season in seniors

Quick left footer .....has done his apprenticeship after injury troubles ....would be surprised if Hawthorn willingly let him go

I'd say we would look at a pick between 5-15 but closer to 15 would be his value maybe a bit higher as the draft drops away steeply from around 12 onwards.

We got him cheap from GWS as he pretty much said he'd go home if he had to live in Sydney any longer, family is number 1 for Jed.
Geelong aren't even offering us a first round pick for Danger if their mob is to be believed and now Jed Anderson who has barely played an AFL is worth a pick between 5-15.

Lol

I said closer to 15.. In other drafts around 20 would be likely but as I said outside the top 10 this draft is well below average for talent.

Disagree. He's depth for the Hawks.

He'd be a good get but unless he can get a tank over summer he's fighting Eddie and Charlie for a spot.

Depth this year based on circumstances

Hawks supporters saying he's best 22 easily when fit

A big pre season will see him play wing, no doubt about it.....

Some people need to look at draft picks not by number but assess it on available talent.. There's great arguments and opinions stating guys that projected at pick 20 might drop to rookie selections, in fact outside the top 15 or so the phantoms are admittedly stabbing in the dark as the quality is quite poor.

In a draft like this year Jed would be valued much higher than previous years or even next year (which is considered very strong).

Mate I'm not sure if you comprehend what I'm saying.. The draft this year is extremely thin, have a read of some phantoms.
How does the top dozen rate against previous years?

Does it thin out from late first round onwards?

The talk is clubs prepared to trade 2015 picks however want to hold on to 2016 picks

No, I fully understand what you are saying but I don't quite agree with the pic range (shallow draft or not). But hey that is just my opinion and I'm not a list manager.
