How many "live" selections do people think we will have in the national draft?
Would we only need 2 live picks? I'd imagine if we trade CEY, Grigg or Kerridge we would get a second or third round pick. Can't see us using picks in the fourth round.

Patrick Dangerfield (8yrs) : draft selection
Cameron Ellis-Yolmen : re-sign
Matthew Wright : delist draft selection
Mitchell Grigg : trade or keep
Sam Kerridge : trade or keep
James Podsiadly : ROB upgrade
Matt Crouch : will resign
Sam Siggins : Kelly upgrade
Rory Atkins : re-sign?
Sam Shaw : re-sign?
Brodie Martin: Hampton trade in

15-20 would be my guess, probably your selection if he's available ( might go before that ).. He would be a nice fit at the Pies as the 3rd target behind Cloke and Moore, he would compliment those guys well.
IMO "late first .....20 - 25 seems right .....Bernie Vince was IIRC was #21

Out of all the possible trades I really hope we get Menzel. I think he's an absolute star. Reminds me of wingard. If we manage to land him I think we'd have the best forward line in the whole comp BY FAR.

Eddie jenkins Charlie
Lynch tex Menzel.

That would definitely make for an exciting mix.
This ......if he has the engine would be a great wingman

Surprisingly tall & still 21 YO

Troy Menzel

He started this years PS as a jet ......yet didn't make round 1 side

Think most had Jed in their Supercoach side ....so expectations were high ....what happened?
Missed some footy with his shoulder and other niggles, he barely trained during the season and had no tank ( hence playing perm forward )... He was in a coma last year from his illness and in all seriousness was lucky to be alive.

There has also been some whispers about him being a little uneasy, there's a lot of conjecture about whether he is signed or not and it's all quite worrying. Our board will meltdown if he goes, but I can't help to think that something just isn't 100%.

Why the Jeansch hate on here? Is it the drink driving incident?
Drink driving incident topped it off for me.

- I'm sick of his kick ins (bounce, run 10 metres, bomb to Jacobs on the right hand side of the field).
- Then his comments on twitter to a fan who was giving him a hard time. Returned serve with a joke about the guy having a 9-5 job... um yeah, cause that's a bad thing? So do 60k of your members.
- Thinks he can have any girl in Adelaide.
- Endangering peoples lives topped it off.

Yes he's improved and I was shattered when he did his knee but I've moved on.

Is he contracted for next year?

I looked and couldn't tell.

I'd like to have him at the Crows but i reckon you're over rating him.

So only one thing that's related to his on-field performances (not going to argue that he comes across as a knob) and that one problem is something that hasn't changed no matter who has taken the kick in. Perhaps the blame shouldn't be directed at the players ;)

A few sessions he wasn't seen ( rumours are he may have ducked off home ), he also had shoulder issues.

Jed is a mystery for a lot on our board, there's posters who are brilliantly informed who says he's signed but absolutely nothing from the club.

I'd like to see Jaensch trialled as an outside mid…got to be way better than Mackay. Actually get him to use his kick as a weapon.

The stint in defence wasn't wasted as he became a very good one-on-one player which looked a laughable proposition early on. Get that harder edge up on the wing and I reckon he would do well lacing out Menzel or bombing them from 60 ;)

Would be like a new recruit in a position we are pathetic in at present, and there's no room in defence imo.
