In all seriousness, if true I couldn't blame him. Consistently overlooked for spuds (ditto Grigg, CEY)…would be frustrating. Hope he succeeds big time in a team needing an inside mid.
Jaensch needs to improve in his one on one contests for mine. He has definitely improved in the past few years but still has a way to go in that area of his game.
He's already done that once with Walsh. He might not want to sit around to hear a new coach again tell him he's in with a shot only not to play a heap.

Well we shouldn't miss him because he never gets a regular game so hopefully if it is true he gets a chance for regular games somewhere else. Swap him for Seedsman.

I'm not sure. I am just going off my own thinking. I don't even know if Collingwood are interested in Lyons but both players struggle to make the best 22 for their current teams.
I'll admit I'm biased towards Lyons but I wouldn't trade him for a 3rd rounder. Conversely, there's no way he's worth a 1st!
For some teams he wouldn't be worth it but to others with a need for a player type like him he's worth a 30-35 pick OR more likely a player swap of equal value.
