Would be great if true. But the AFL site is about as accurate as a blind person with a dart board at this point. If we manage to get him across with our third, that gives us a lot of flexibility to pursue some other players and hopefully score another couple players before the period is over.
This board is ridiculous when it comes to young talent. Every time there's some young player with a bit of talent that might be on the market, everyone goes nuts and then when he decides to go to a club not named Adelaide it's all "wasn't that great anyways" sort of responses. Bet the same thing happens if Anderson doesn't come to the Crows - although I do hope that's not the case.
Also think the calls that a second round pick for him would be a 'steal' are way off as well. It would be a good valued get to grab someone from a top club who was unable to work his way into the side this year, but he still needs to play at the next level which he's yet to show, we shouldn't be paying anymore than a second rounder imo. Much like Jacobs, he was a great value get but he wasn't a steal - he was a 4th string ruck at Carlton who wasn't getting games and we paid them correctly with a late 30's and 60's picks.

Do wonder how much is down to the development of the clubs rather then the preserved poor quality of top picks of those drafts. I'm sure a lot of those guys have been Carlton/Richmond/Melbourne'd.
So let's get our heads around this. Everyone has their own opinions - Alex is not an exception. He's allowed to have them. If you think he's being an aggressor/annoying, just ignore him. It will make everyone's experience happier.
I saw the same article, and was thinking who wrote this shit. VB and Kerridge keepers, are u serious. People keep going on about one game where kerridge kicked six. U can't live of that yr whole career. The guy is useless in traffic and like vb burns the ball continuously that's why he doesn't get game. Jaensch on the other hand was playing a career best yr up until his injury and Shaw we need for defensive depth where we r thin if a tall goes down yet they were put in trade column. These writers have no idea. How they get employment baffles me....typical corporate crap
