Yes but none that would have significantly affected his fitness base. He could have played more games but Hawthorn chose not to pick him. I don't think he's played any great AFL games out of the 10 he's played.
I'm not saying we shouldn't trade him in if he chooses us, I'm just saying he's nothing to jizz about yet.
Surely we'd be high up the list of preferred destinations though considering he'd play 22 games just by being better than a complete spud.
Not disagreeing or arguing a point or anything here, but for those talking about the subject, bear in mind that the kid spend close to 4 months bed-written and couldn't do a thing. He lost a lot of weight and his fitness levels would have obviously gone to shit also. For an already skinny kid, this wasn't great and in his first ever game back from that pneumonia he ended up subluxing his shoulder...
2015 he had a few hamstring niggles during the pre-season and they surfaced again early on in the season. Hawks decided to take a very, very cautious approach with him here.
Couldn't break back into a very settled 22 in the second half of the year. Was actually in contention to be selected for the first final against Eagles, but Hawks decided not to.
Trust me, it was most certainly not Anderson footballing ability keeping him out of this Hawks side.
