Rigtho - I've been through and cleaned up alot of the snippy posting between posters - one being central to it all.
Said poster has copped a few infractions, couple of extras for every page I had to go through to clean up the crap. Had a gutful folks, keep it on topic and free of BS as my threshold for foolishness is quite low at present. You've been warned.
Thought you were a bit rough with a typical piece of champagne comedy. A poster (not Alex) says we can disagree and I respond that I can't agree with that. I mean, it's pure genius. By disagreeing, it implies that I agree, but I've stated that I dont, so it's like a never ending loop of il-logic. I think there's a term for it, I'm off to google.

Isn't Seedsman supposed to be a winger/half back with reasonable pace and good kick?

I haven't seen him much so don't know how accurate my description is but if so, that's exactly what we need.
I think I may have his player type wrong. Thought he was like Cheney, Shaw or Often. Third defender material.

Still, he doesn't excite me.

Pick 55 in the National Draft for a midfielder says most clubs were Meh .....not excited TBH
Nope. All the other players won't be able to be prised away. They've seen something in Gregson as we have. Murdoch has the run and carry we need. They need it to. Gore won't be considered with Patrick slotting in. He will be depth. We will get an inside mid most probably. Hey he's a Red head. :drunk:

What are the chances that Hampton or for that matter any trades get done tomorrow?

Will this trade period involve more action than previous years, as it feels like there is so much whispered movements there could be a lot of players changing clubs.
As I have posted previously I think we may bring in Hampton and Anderson and upgrade picks..I wouldn't mind being wrong and see the AFC be aggressive this time around and improve our list so that there is genuine pressure for 22 spots each week.

Would be over the moon with Hampton, Menzel, Anderson and Redden or Mayes.
Gut feel says Hampton is wearing Crows colours this time tomorrow. Wednesday at the very latest.

Nah ...i am not accepting left overs .....it has to be a player that can be a best 22, not a list clogger

I'd much prefer Hampton.

With Hampton, Hendo, Smith and even Laird to an extent competing for the same rebounding half back/wingman position I would prefer not to get the seed.

The seed Imo is just another Hendo, who is a borderline player in my books. I think people can be blinded by players from other clubs and only notice their good points and come to the conclusion they are better than what we have; while in reality they very well maybe worse

I'm not asking this question because I think we will get Gore however I'm just curious if anyone on here was tracking him prior to last years draft?

I took the opportunity to read some old phantom drafts and watch some vids and I seems that Gore was penned to go between pick 30 and 40 in quite a few drafts

From the vids he looks a really good build and very quick and I know its only his rookie year however I was curious at what is the main knock on him as a player?

I've seen a few highlights packages.

Looks like an inside mid who loves a clearance but issues with disposal. We need a few more of them :thumbsu:

Just a bit Vanilla ....like Kerridge, no standout qualities .....don't think you can describe him as quick

Just in the same vein as our other fringe midfielders .....queue up average mids
