I can give one little clue only, one tiny morsel for the other 17 clubs to work with.

Days since Richmond Tigers Football Club last lost a Grand Final: 15,345.

The key is what happened next. When we lost that Grand Final we didn't just gloss over it or try to ignore it and hope it went away. We did the right thing and took it hard and organised a full club implosion to show we were taking it seriously.

The only current team with any reamaining chance chance of joining the Grand Final masters as undefeated Grand Finalists just happen to be the only team coached by a guy who knows exactly how to do it. The Suns.

Hardwick holds the AFL record for the most games coached without losing a Grand Final. He has coached 330 matches. The next in line to have coached in at least one Grand Final but never lost one....

Simon Goodwin, 173 games coached.
