Score the most pointsWhat strategy is best for 17 rounds? I'd like to hear some ideas
Have to be first passed the post for SC leagues wouldn't it?what changes do you think supercoach make?
They could probably squeeze a season in from August to NovemberAll lower comps postponed until the end of May. I just can't fathom how people conclude that things will be better by then.
17 round comp. IF it goes ahead, have to assume no SC finals. First past the post??
Start with more mid-pricers and trade aggressivelyWhat strategy is best for 17 rounds? I'd like to hear some ideas

No. Still 3300 points per game. Now that the AFL has announced there will be only 17 rounds this year should the scoring be higher? A normal season has 198 games x 3300 points roughly per game. So over 23 rounds that equates to 653,400 points. If that was broken down over 17 rounds in works out to 4270 points per game almost another 1000 points which would make it so much more interesting if players were able to score possibly 250-300 points per game.
Total points, no finalsYou mean EPL style?
It’s going to be hectic, I still don’t think we get 17 gamesStart with more mid-pricers and trade aggressively
You are probably right, but again, why are things going to be better in August? With the rate of spread and infection, I just don't see how anyone can possibly fathom that things will be better until a vaccination and anti viral drugs exist. Am I missing something here? They could probably squeeze a season in from August to November
Potentially BBL style, lots of games over a condensed timeframeIt’s going to be hectic, I still don’t think we get 17 games
What do you think will happen ? .....surely clubs won't want top us who are not AFL fit or up with the gameplan ....plus there's no secondary league for them to get match practiceIt’s going to be hectic, I still don’t think we get 17 games
You're correct ....but I'm guessing that authorities will have a vaccination, sooner rather than later .....the current actions are designed to take pressure off the hospitals / doctors, and health systemYou are probably right, but again, why are things going to be better in August? I hope not, but that is likely, especially if they need to catch up games. BBL did my head in the one year I tried it. I couldn’t keep up.Potentially BBL style, lots of games over a condensed timeframe
I reckon the games will be quite fluid. They’ll have 24 weeks to get 17 games completed. So some bye rounds, some multi game rounds. What do you think will happen ? .....surely clubs won't want top us who are not AFL fit or up with the gameplan ....plus there's no secondary league for them to get match practice
If a player gets a virus, the club goes into two weeks lockdown ...and the match simply gets rescheduled ...hence the 17 games ...gives 5 weeks for catchupsI reckon the games will be quite fluid. They’ll have 24 weeks to get 17 games completed. So some bye rounds, some multi game rounds.
Yeah 100%. Trying to buy time for a vaccine. Which is why, IMO, the whole country should be in lock down. Europe went from 61 cases to more than 40 000 in less than 4 weeks. Clearly our authorities aren't aware of what has happened in Europe. short term pain, absolutely. Long term will be better for it.You're correct ....but I'm guessing that authorities will have a vaccination, sooner rather than later .....the current actions are designed to take pressure off the hospitals / doctors, and health system
Yeah, I still think that they’ll struggle to get it to work. They’re basically the only league in the world that thinks they can make it work...If a player gets a virus, the club goes into two weeks lockdown ...and the match simply gets rescheduled ...hence the 17 games ...gives 5 weeks for catchups
