Travis Varcoe close to BOG for me - he played a blinder - and so good to see Jesse White have a great game for his 100th

They lost to many key players at crucial times to give us an accurate gauge on where we sit.
Bigger fish to fry over the next month or so.

Like I said last week, I've all but conceded that it'll take for it to be mathematically impossible to miss the finals before people accept that we can make it.

We can only beat who we've played, and only a handful of weeks ago people had GWS as genuine top 4 contenders. Well, don't forget about little old Collingwood, we've got ourselves in prime position to seriously contend for a spot. Love sticking it up the haters who every week expect us to finally fall. Plenty of positives. Cloke, Broomhead, Adams, Williams, Brown, Oxley all teriffic.

No better small defender in the comp than Marley Williams.

Good win, well fought in the first two quarters. Adams played out of his Skin. Pendlebury was good as always. Cloke got some late when he wasn't getting tripled teamed and Varcoe was silky with his ball use. Brown was a brick wall. Fantastic cameos by the younger brigade in De Goey, Cripps, Oxley and Elliot. Strong future. Seedsman has believed his own hype and looks lost, Goldsack was not there to play. Now the missus and I can head away on a holiday without being worried about when Collingwood is playing!

Them having too many loose forwards and us missing tackles is still a worry, but we have the bye to fix that up, and we'll be ready for Freo.

I know everyone's loving Adams, Cloke, Pendlebury and Crisps Game but how about Williams! Holy **** imo he's almost our most important medium/small sized defender. Contested beast and we rarely lose a contest when Marleys around because he just wants it, my 2nd BOG today. An absolute sensation this season, AA contender and he's developed astronomically as well has the group. The next 4 weeks will test us, we win 2 out of the 4 and we will make finals. I love the boys and I loved this win!

Adams, Swan, Pendlebury, Williams, Broomhead, Cloke, White, Crisp, Varcoe, Brown, Oxley all very good.

Witts did his job against Mumford, still very weak around the ground in marking contests but was quite good in the hitouts.

Goldsack & Seedsman are so, so deplorable - both will be omissions heading over to Perth

Just watching his pressure off the ball and the work he puts in is great. Hard worker.

My only problem with Marley is his kicking. I am a massive fan of his but his kicking is still pretty ordinary.

Great win from the boys, really could not be happier with the first half with the year really. I expect us to fizzle out during the second half of the year but our future is so bright.
Really seem to be playing for each other and fighting each game. We have had some down quarters but can't remember us giving up like last year.

I doubt this will be happening. Especially since Grundy will probably be right and we were going to take 2 ruckman to counter Mumford, I'd expect they'd have the same mentality with Sandilands.

Besides, we've finally got a pretty settled side. Wouldn't be making 3 changes, no one is screaming out to be dropped. Reid, Scharenberg, Maynard, Greenwood are all going to have to earn the spots, even if it means excessive time in the VFL.
