Well ìf you look at the fixture, after 10 rounds we may be 4 and 6. Im counting a win against Hawthorn in that 4, but they may well smash us....again!

Carlton will nearly go in favourites against us, and Geelong GWS will smash us in the next 3 weeks.

It's unfortunate, but from the outside looking in it appears as if a culture of losing and acceptance thereof as part of the "process" is now too firmly entrenched within the club for the current structure to remain in place.

You can only learn so much from a(nother) loss and with the cycle seemingly never-ending we are inevitably left with nothing to take from another poor game other than the simple fact that we weren't good enough on the day.

The frustrating bit is that I genuinely think we do have the cattle to be competitive week in and week out, but the work off field has been lacking for so long now that we've simply fallen into a rut on every level with no real hope of improvement in sight.

To be fair the review thread could have been started during the first quarter, we were never going to comeback from giving Essendon a start.

Essendon had clearly learnt from the Carlton match and played smart wet weather footy with the primary focus being to gain territory (eg. lots of kicks off the ground) during that period and we were left playing catch up on a confident team after that.

There's nothing fair about starting a review thread before the game finishes.

I'm sure there will be more than enough commentary on the game plan/Buckley etc but I'd love to see us actually convert our chances and experience the flow on effect. That's only happened in the first half vs Sydney so far and that was a pretty good half. Can't underestimate the effect of continually missing our chances. Essendon missed a few as well but generally made the crucial ones count.

It helps but Bucks was totally out coached today. Trying to play possession footy in those conditions was ridiculous. Going sideways, backwards in wet weather can only result in turnovers and our coach couldn't identify that today. We have the most congested forward 50 every week and it's hard to keep watching the opposition quickly move the ball from one end to the other with 2-3 free players streaming forward for an instant reply to our hardworked 1 goal 9p.

Pretty piss poor game plan. ..why no hoskin-elliot up fwd? Taylor Adams too much time forward. Mason Cox selected in side haha. Why does Mason always put his arms up in surrender mode and also take 5mins to get off the deck when he goes down ... seriously... what a load of crud everywhere.

Cox needs to take a few marks if he wants to play seniors.

If you guys could kick straight you would've been right in it til the end. Never usually go on opposition boards to comment but one moment stood out to me most and it was right on half time. You guys had the last 8 of the 10 scoring shots and you were all over them. Fantasia marks and has a shot at goal and kicks it out on the full. Where is the passion and hunger in you guys to get in his face and let him/them know that you guys were coming hard! No bump after his miss, no shouting at him and giving it to him rather you all just ran off. Dissapointing to see the whole team just walk by him as if it wasn't a big deal.
