Blues fans is Adam Hartlett any chance of being given a run early in the season?

Will play all 22 game's or close to it preventing injury i'd say - unless he suffers a dramatic loss of form. Could be a real get for any DT'er, hence his inclusion in my team. Not many people know much about him either.

It's a risk though because he's been injury prone in the past. I'd personally take it as i think its worth it. Could pay dividends.

I have one big problem with this, I have too many Carlton players (especialy in the midfield) but Gibbs and Stevens appear to be very cheap based on abiliity. Does anyone have any suggestions.

One suggestion. Start again.

Spend some $ down back. Wilson, Rooke, Nicoski, Bradshaw and Raines are not scoring playes. Need some running defenders that rack up possessions, ie more players like Gram. Doubt S Selwood will play this year.

Four Carlton midfileders and $350K sitting on the bench? They can't all be up there every week. Pick the two you think will be most consistent. Hint: Start Stevo on the ground.

Rucks are OK, but the Leun will be behind Charman. Upgrade to a first choice ruckmen like Simmonds, King or even Mark Blake (Ottens will be out Rd 1)

Forwards are fine, but maybe look more consistent contributors. Headland, Fevola, Hawkins can all be hot and cold. Need one or two who will deliver every week.

you've got too much uncertainty in your backline. you've too many players not guaranteed a game.

I will watch Carlton's games with interest this year. With Judd, Stevens back, Gibbs with more experience and Murphy not getting tagged and roughed up as much I think your midfield could become one of the best in the league behind Geelong and Hawthornes.

Nice team, the only thing I'd say is I considered Reid as well, good pre-season, however im not that confident that he'll get game-time. I'd suggest down-grading him and picking up an extra 50k I'd then use that money to upgrade Waite..but thats just me

I think you should go back to guns and bargains. Those are the only type of players you should have in Dreamteam.

Thanks fella. Yeah, i've gone for a different approach this year than to previous years. I went young young young last year and although i still won my competition and stormed home with scores in the 2000's, my overall finishing place in the comp wasn't that good.

This year i've gone for guys who are mid range and who would explode, and with a couple of younger guys who i think could lift and serve me well. I'll see how it goes - i guess you lean each year about dreamteam as you go.

I probably should have gone for a younger option in the rucks. Just don't feel that the younger brigade will get enough of it (much like Maric in the past couple of years who i've gone with). I went for Gardiner in the hope that he could provide me some good cash toward the end of the season. Let's hope it doesn't blow up in my face

Reid scored really well in the pre-season. Reckon the pies might go with Rocca, Reid and Cloke as the three talls up forward - its risky i agree.
