i had goodwin and chapman last year and they didnt have a great overall season
i just have a question who would u rather as a midfielder

if i was you mate i'd keep reiwoldt over chappy or richo...could u get some money by downgradings on of your rucks, you've got 2 pricey rucks. maybe downgrade petrie to H mac then upgrade haselyby to cousins and reilly to either simpson or griffen. trying to pick holes in the rest of it byt it looks pretty good, although i wouldn't have both fev and franklin, if they both have a off week together you could be loosing matches....better to have someone else who is more consistant.


here's mine...took the last comments on board and downgraded sewell to haselby and johncock to adcock which allowed me to upgrade kreuzer to hille, lucas to roughhead and rance to hill..... not 100% sure about malceski (have 20k and could trade hill back to rance for another 70 but not sure who i would get in his place that would be good value) could prob also change roughy to rioli.
also considered cousins instead of haselby and 100k but not sure if it will be worth the extra 100k
also would A Rance be better than suban? Cant decide.
can anyone see and holes or suggest any trades? pick it to bits guys

2 things stand out for me when I looked at this team.

1. N. Krakouer???? Surely there is someone better than him ..

In respect to going with 2 mids from Port yes I agree it could backfire but they have a very good midfield that can work well together. Last year I took the punt as well with Salopek & Cassisi together & they avg'd - 97 & 120ppg for the year. So it can sometimes work in the right team.

With Krakouer was only going on NAB cup form.

Looking at your team (yes your forward line need some work) some things I might suggest is (not sure how much cash you have left) swap your ruck bench to the likes of J. Spencer & S. Jacobs that will save you $36,600.
Maybe downgrade a mid to get some cash if needed.
In the forwards look at someone like Higgins & your probably one premium short , someone like richo , Nathan Brown or Chapman etc. Also Fev. is a big risk & won't score much if he doesn't kick a bag.

It's pretty risky with guys like Collier, Higgins, etc but hopefully it pays off.

I'm not as confident going into the season as I was last season (averaged about 2100, can't see me doing that again..) but some big performances this week would help me out big time... I reaaaallly want to beat my mates again.

Ok was thinking of a couple of changes what do you think of the following.

Downgrade Cousins to A. Otten & altenate the 6th mid between Otten/Rich/Anthony. That would then give me approx. $550,000 for another forward but not sure who?? Any ideas

I certainly can...he was injured most of last yr and this is supercoach not dremteam.

No reason why he cant have his best season ever..fit as fk and extremely well priced.
