thanks jmac juggernaut. i was actually thinking of downgrading eiher richo or fev but i do have 100k in the bank without downgrading them. who would you suggest to upgrade and who to upgrade to in my backline. should i use the 100k or still downgrade fev/richo??

Just after a little feedback also. I think I'm getting closer to what I think I will start with. My bench players are open for a fair bit of movement come round 1, dependant on selections.

I think you ins/outs leave you in a better spot. Franklin could be someone to target during the season. I think everyones a little cautious on how he's going at the moment.

No genuine 'star in the backline is a worry but you do have some keepers in Bock, Mackie, Cornes and maybe Lockyer but these players are more mid range and won't rise is too much value (except for the Chad) and in SC you want rising value to create more money to get the better players easier.

Again no geniune star in the ruck division which could hurt you as I see one of them needing trading during the season.

Well balanced across the team and good depth with only 1 rookie in each position. Really like the unique touches with Embley, Rischa and Gia.

I'm not going Roughy, Hentschel or MacIntosh as I prefer other options but thats just a personal preference.

^^^Pretty good execpt you have Gumby starting and also Lucas and Hentschel in the forward line, both risky imo. Also having Ablett and Cox is a lot of money on two players, and Ablett in particular will probably go down a bit.

I like the look of it.

Area of concern would be being the odd one out when it comes to Cox, which could easily make or break your season.

I too have Malceski and Raines starting, although have played around to get Grimes on the bench in case they are rested throughout the year. Dont see Rance playing a whole lot is the Richmond back 6 remain injury free, and Suban apparently is no a lock in starter for Round 1.

In the mids, I'm not up to speed with how Tuck has been going during the preseason and whether he is in the Hawks best 22 as a midfeilder? If so, will he suffer for TOG with the other guns they have in there? Other than him, I like the make up.

Forwards look sexy... ;)

I really like this team. If anything at all I would change it would be not having Lucas, Hentschel and Gumbleton all starting. I would trade Lucas down to Higgins and Gumbleton up to Ziebell.

Love it. Masten is a risk obviously, but should pay off and get much more game time this year. Your backs are ace, pretty much the same as mine.
Like your forwards thoughts, but you had better hope they pay off as you could find yourself in trouble if they don't. Looks the goods though :D

cheers mate, yeh i have taken lucas out for now, replaced him with skipworth from the middle and iv put travis tuck in the middle, really think he should be good this year, im thinking this years jared mcveigh, i just cant not have gumbleton there at his price, if fit he will play and can only improve on what i have seen. i can either have ablett and ottens, or bartel and hille, im not sure which yet.

in regard to your team, it looks pretty solid, i think jamar as 2nd ruck might be a worry, mids look solid, birchall is injured i heard, may miss round 1, so you might want to consider that, other than him, backline is good (and if hes fit, then its all good) in the forward line fev is always a risk, but if you wana win supercoach you have to take risks, and with buddy, just make sure hes fully fit otherwise his value might drop early and you could pick him up then.

Love that you're breaking the mold a little. :D

Any thoughts about getting Hill into your mids and picking up a back for the same price as you drop in the mids?

I suggest this only because if he is dropped, it'll be a lot less stressful for you to cover him with your mid-emergencies. :)

Yeah McLean is one player I'm still considering. It would free up a fair amount of coin if I went with Tuck. Pretty keen on Fev this year, and not that preseason counts for much but Roughie looks in good form. Still got time to tinker with a few things. Thanks for the input.
