I'm open to all suggestions and opinions that may improve my team

I think you have used too much dosh on your emergencies, you may want to down grade them and boost up some of your mids and forwards. Both Luenberger and Toovey are way to expensive. Maybe try to get Jacobs or Spencer for Luenburger both are 83,400 and are likley to play round 1.

Might need to really re-think the defence there. Walker is only an emergency and Symes has been injured all pre-season and will most likely not be playing round 1 or 2.

Having Luenberger on the bench is just way too much money for a bench player. Downgrade him to Jacobs and spend the money upgrading everywhere. Your team only has 5 gun players thats far too few to compete.

I've tweaked the team a little, think this looks much stronger.

Great team to say the least I think you have a great back line, one of the strongest I have seen. Yes Tippet is a bit of a worry and maybe Otten as well, but I think you can afford to have them with Ablett and Cox amongst them. Gotta love the forwards with a variety of talls and smalls.

Personally, I'd go NDS as I think he could bounce back well from a below average year by his standards last year. I think he's got more upside than Thompson.

I'd also stick with Skipworth as I think there's a lot of upside there.

I'm actually considering Gibbs -> Boak and Thompson -> Corey + Tuck -> NDS now.


For your situation, purely IMO, I'd downgrade Ablett, then bring in one more premium at both ends of the ground. If I were you, I'd be getting my final bank balance below $30K.

All in all thats a strong team that will do well to start off with. With this team it will come down to your trade decisions that will decide your outcome.The only thing with your forwardline is Goodwin in my opinion not that that amounts to much.He is starting to get on the older side of things and i think more younger players will play a larger role in the midfield for the crows.But overall nice team

Okay team. My main points of advice would be:

1. There are better options then Dalziell. I'd go for Wells or Kornes or even Kerr or cousins ahead of him. Maybe Ball if you have the cash

2. Anthony, ottens and BEams are a risky trio as none are really guaranteed games. Try and get Rich in there.

yeh they are the only real reasons for your team also lucas i think will either be hit or miss, there are a few like that this year (kerr, cousins, drummond)

i like this team, always taking a risk when you dont get cox, but thats your choice, drummond is a major risk as you would know, but all in all, i really like this team. you have done well. not sure if ziebell will play, perhaps consider mitchell brown from wce on the bench instead of hogan?

perhaps P.Burgoyne is around the same price? or you could downgrade a bit and go with either a houli or further down, adcock? dont get me wrong, drummond is a sc beast, when he is playing that is, hasnt played more than like 15 games in a season in a long time if ever. you can take that risk if you want, or if you dont, i would go with either burgoyne, houli or adcock, hope i helped

haha this is pretty much exactly the same as my team....i have adcock over drummond, few other differences. zeibell is playing...i have reid but might trade him up to zeibel.
