Get on with it.

Overall Jimmae for mine. Breakout year and just became some sort of gun game & player analyst whose posts I really enjoyed this season. Touch grumpy, well researched, really informative. Gets my vote.

Rookie - I need some help with this one. Any suggestions, I'm easily swayed.

Individual POTY KohPhi - think we all know the one but would appreciate someone linking it somewhere.

Special mention to ferrisb for keeping the laughs coming in a pretty topsy-turvy year.

More inside.

Think she has possibly been the best overall addition to this place in the time I've been around. Fresh, assertive, touches of lunacy, blushes nicely....

Lot of great posts this year, but for mine the Individual POTY was ferrisb's training report.

Points for imagination, originality and just piss funny - in a period of closed training sessions and posters suffering post season withdrawal symptoms, ferris' post was like an oasis in the desert of no information. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

OK, so this is what I didn't see when I didn't head down to PP the other day.

On-field

Korcheck - was in great spirits until someone explained that being on the 'special team' does not have the same meaning as in the US.
Armfield - still getting used to the difference in professionalism between the men's and women's team. I mean you'd think the men would have better standards after all these years...
Cripps - has been told once his back heals, he will be utilised as the 'first man up' in ruck duels.
JNM Docherty - has a haircut that you can set a clock to. As a result, all drills are finished once shadows move 15 degrees past his right ear.
Smedts - one of the more promising ins. Has shown form around all over the fieldt, but wouldt prefer to be playedt forwardt.
Weltering - has been even more impressive this pre-season, likely due to his recent firmware upgrade.
Palmer - Good news is the NEAFL to AFL transition has been seamless. Bad news is the NEAFL to AFL transition has been seamless.
Fisher - impressed with the approach-ability of the coaching staff. Says he can always see eye-to-eye with Bolts.
Polson - has been told his role is as a goal-sneak. Has been seen watching Digby Morrell highlights.
Cuningham - impressive in all the drills; kickinng, handpassinng and markinng, but espcially his runnninng.
Jaksch - much debate over whether KJ is a backman or a fwd. In game simulations, the players have also struggled to tell without double-checking which bib he has on.

Off-field

Gibbs - no discomfort being back with teammates. In fact every morning, he offers the team to go get them coffees from Rundle Mall.
Williamson - in contrast, has been struggling to socialise with the team, as the Carlton Cafe is licensed and he is not allowed in until he turns 18.
McKay - continues to grow. The OH&S dept has forced the club to install 'Danger: Low clearance' signs atop all the doorframes.
SPS - said he felt badly homesick. The team panicked, but it turned out he was trying to say that Pickett cooked a dodgy curry the night before.
Jones - has been bombarding teammates with his emotions. The coaching staff are to blame, as they told him not to keep things so close to his chest.
Wright - he's making all the new kids on the block (draftees) sing The (W)right Stuff whenever he walks past.
SOSOS - Has been making his teammates watch every episode of the Chinese dating show 'If you are the one'.
Curnow, C - seriously dedicated; everywhere he goes, it looks like he's driven.
Buckley - has sparked a row between coaching and media. Bolts has told the kids to get off the couch. Production of Discussions with Dylan has been halted indefinitely.

* Thy....bet you're sorry you asked, now....

ShanDog is my Carlton board POTY, just narrowly beating MEB_, TheSheik and @Malifce, just an entire year of quality, insightful posts, and a splendid chap to boot.

Aww thanks man.

I'd give a shout out to FlowersByIrene for the very cool "Track the youth" thread, and also Blue and Silver for the effort that goes into some of his analysis posts.

footyfan78 posts very well too IMO.

There's a host of others. Will post em as I think of them.

ShanDog has a sexy voice too
my vote for POTY goes to Wookie
Actually on that topic, big shout out to the guys who update info like game links, membership and financial stuff etc. Great work zeeCFC and The_Wookie.

ferrisb is always funny, but also posts very well about players and games too. I know he often far too busy (not like thylacine60 - ACTUALLY busy) but is always making most of us laugh or volunteering to be on the podcast. Cheers dude :thumbsu:
