The problem with the acceptance of where North is by our supporter base is I've noticed increasingly the Go North! campaign is losing its power. You don't even really have that anymore. The last thing BigFooty needed was North becoming self aware.

It's your Collingwood's and West Coast's that are in danger now. The Dogs and Saints can't miss finals again.
Now that Norf are no longer a financial basket case or the perennial "almost" finals contender they once were there's little point trolling them when so many better targets abound. Its the sensitivity of a team's supporterbase that makes it a make-or-break Bay13 target and most of Norf's fans have already embraced the reality the team is shit and will be for the forseeable future.

There's a distinct lack of optimism & delusion there to feed on which makes clubs like Geelong & Richmond much more fertile flog hunting grounds. We may add Melbourne to that list for the first time in a long time if as I predict they overachieve next year and their success-starved fans get ahead of themselves, but more likely we'll be too busy trolling the Tigers and their inevitably piss poor Premiership defense to notice.

I like Chief 's work on other boards, and believe he wants to participate more on the Bay to prove he is a man of the people. Also the moderators here require some leadership, and Chief's presence would keep them all in line.

Rest assured I'm ready to take all of it back in a heartbeat the moment Norf racks up another financial loss. :drunk:

Which raises a point, Norf only seemed to get its' shit together off-field after Eugene Arocca left - coincidence? I'd like to hear boydshow's view on that.

Fair enough. Also acceptable on a premature top four-six finish.

What exactly have they got together?

No assets, and declining relevance with so many home games sold interstate

each way, Ventura Storm. Was all the rage before Caulfield Cup. Was running well. An average run saw it's price blow out. Has got a good gate to get a cheap run in transit. Will get the trip.
EJ it looks like the weather is going to turn pretty wild for the Cup tomorrow, does this affect your tip?
