Not sure how they are going to grade it, being the MRP and all, which we know are a thousand monkeys playing darts and the average score they get will determine the punishment. He played on for the rest of the game, he didnt get 50m for the incident, which if the ump thought he was late or unreasonable he would have paid so yeah probably 3 weeks....... 4 with priors.

Just going back a bit on the thread. Because I live in NSW I never really get to see too many games. So I don't think I've seen Emac play this year haha. Or at least when I did I never saw him. Was this performance impressive for his standards? Seemed to be a good game from him.

Scrambling team defensive efforts, creating fumbles and bad passes by North, in the first quarter when goals were on offer.
Smashed North and on the wrong side of the free kick count.
Gaff's performance in a big game.

I'll have to review the tape but Lynch seemed to be quite for a lot of the game. (Given MCG is wider he would have to be considered doubtful for next week, even without MRP intervention.

Only positives for me in the form of individual moments:

• Hill directing Darling into space (and him running and making it) for a deep kick and goal
• Kerr's pass to Cox (does this thing of spotting a player and passing to him while kicking across his body so you have no idea where he's going, more than anyone else in the game - blessed by better vision than anyone else as well).
• McGinnity's full-body charge on Atley which cause a spill and Lynch goal
• Naitanui roving Cox's tap, bursting through tackles with a hand pass to Scooter
• Embley's first, 60m off one step
• Hurn's torp at goal
• Butler reading the ball and side-stepping his opponent numerous times - back to his best
• McKenzie goal and reaction - obviously
• McKenzie out running Hansen (?) out of the back line
• Hill's game generally, but especially overhead marking and drift down the wing
• the way Gaff always has time to turn onto his left - more a sign of poor anticipation by North
• box shots of Brad Scott preparing his excuses

That was Petrie. They were neck and neck then Emac grabbed the ball and ran away with ease. Emac thought he could do anything after kicking THAT goal.

Only negatives are Waters injury and the hit from Lynch on McMahon. The hit seemed fair and in play to me but Lynch has a bad record and carry over points. Suspended once if not twice already this year IIRC

Its no longer a part of the game. Lynch was a fraction of a millisecond too late but unfortunately, thats all you need to be.
