I wouldn't go to a GWS game unless it was their final one after being folded by the AFL. In which case I would be there with bells on and a bunting.

We haven't played at Lake Oval in nearly 50 years so that's hardly a reasonable comparison.

My father went to the Junction Oval to watch Fitzroy when we were not playing at the Lake Oval, so I would think about that statement again.

The AFL keeps the Perth and Adelaide team apart so one team is interstate while the other is at home so its crazy that they have both the Swans and Giants playing at home on the same weekend, it just blocks each side from promoting their home game regarding of if Swans fans want to go to Giants games or not. Who cares, its gives people the option, just like AFL members like myself in Melbourne have and enjoy.

Good on him , when we got shafted and sent North i would occasionally go and watch Gary Ablett snr when we were on a Sunday up there . It was mindboggling how a bloke could kick 12 from a wing !
But i don't put money into the gate of a pop up club like GWS

I don't think Swans supporters are going to watch GWS to barrack for them. It doesn't mean they love the Swans any less. They just want to see another game of footy.

I'm an AFL Member and I go and watch Geelong games because my brother is a Geelong supporter. I still love the Swans and I will always bleed Red and White .

Why? It's absolutely true. When I lived in the metro area I was a member of both and went to games nearly every weekend.

I had reason to go to Giants VFL games last year and at the SCG both games were played some actually had two scarves, Swans one for the AFL and GWS one for the VFL. It felt dirty but hey, gotta do what you gotta do.

Same joke was running around in the early 90’s at the SCG. You could turn up to buy a ticket and they were handing them out for free.

They are a threat on field, since they first made the finals in ‘16 only missed the top 8 twice.

Off field they also voice the same issues that we have. As a foe there could be worse.

I already mentioned when we were in Sydney on a Saturday and God was playing at the MCG i would go to watch him not the teams, hows that
