Malthouse is too old to go thru a rebuild. The irony would be delicious, but won't happen.

Would like to see us go for another untried coach. Tudor, Neeld, Burns, SOS.
Sanderson is as good signed apparently for the Dogs.

Laidley
Craig
Harvey.

Do not want.

Although i'd handle Eade. And Choco. Choco would be good.

And don't thing Rob Harvey is ready yet, and interims never work.

Couldn't see our highest goal kicker playing under malthouse either.

No recycled coaches.

We need someone from a club that values player development as well.

A neeld or a burns would be good perhaps seeing the collingwoody young players now with 50 plus games in em.

That's what we need.

It be good to follow in the footsteps of the Bombers by surrounding a rookie coach with experience.

Tudor, Eade, Laidley and SOS

I don't think Rob Harvey will ever be a good coach TBH.

GT? :)

Remove Harvey, insert Stuart Dew

Swans assistant, now there's a name that hasn't been mentioned.
Do you think highly of him?

I won't edit Harvey out though - he is interim coach now and IMO is clearly the best of their current coaching panel..

I'd think about Scott Burns. He's been a major contributor to the Eagles resurgence this season. Think both Adelaide and Melbourne are into him though with Craig as the senior assistant. Brenton Sanderson is well thought of at Catland and apparently was number 2 choice behind Chris Scott.

Bout this.

I rate Stu Dew highly.... As development coach, he has done a super job with Gary Rohan, Nick Smith, Johnson, Parker etc, while the young fringe players in Jetta, Denis-Lane & injury riddled Brett Meredith are developing nicely

Couldnt hurt having a 2-time premiership gun on the coaching panel... Could teach a few of our boys how to actually 'step up' on the day of the big dance :)

Swans rate Stewy pretty highly as well, we wouldn't give him up easily. Fantastic character to have around the club.... and watching him kick goals pre game is nearly worth the price of admission alone. Unbelievable boot on him, and he knows it :)

Stewart Dew does have an aura about him, and certainly no one is going to talk back to the big unit, and he's been to the top of the mountain, (unlike you Ross). Very interesting.

And we badly need someone who can bring players on, that was probably Lyons biggest weakness.
