I'd be going for Tom Swift. Taylor's performances on the likes of Roughead and Riewoldt demonstrate that in the short term our tall defensive unit is fine. While I still think we need to draft another good tall defender in the next year or two, this may have slipped down the priority list somewhat.
At the moment the more pressing need is pace in the midfield. Our core 18 does not feature a single player with pace, and those on the fringes are either on their last legs (Woja, Byrnes) or only average players (Djerrkura, Varcoe). At 190cm Swift will be a bitch to match up on, has plenty of toe and has shown previously he can get the footy. While I think the lack of pace in our midfield wasn't the primary reason we lost the GF, it's an area we need to address.
As for tall players...I think there'll be a few floating around. You'd expect guys like Milne, Post, Jones and Schoenmaker would all last to our pick.
