Sanders??

Whilst I agree to a point, we do things in such a dumb way that it makes it almost impossible to defend.

That's the issue, our responses are because of the blatant stupidity.

DELETE THIS EMAIL PHIL.
I mixed up Brian Sando and Sanders 🤪

Oh my ******* god can this club get any more embarrassing to support

The problem with football clubs is that some ex-players hang round and get jobs within the club or clubs and actually never go out into the real world. Both of these players are classic cases of living in the footy bubble.

Nigel Smart - played to 2004 then became a board member in 2005
Ben Hart - played to 2006 then an assistant with Adelaide then went to Collingwood as an assistant and now back at Adelaide.

Any media commentator who suggests loss of draft picks or suspensions is being a sensationalist for clicks and should lose all credibility.

From this issue alone it's clear who in the media is doing their job properly and fairly

There's a massive law suit in this against the afl if we're penalised. The afl cant override our state goverment laws.

Its interesting reading victorians going off about this. Many of think James hird did no wrong. Or dusty got fed as a kid from proceeds of crime is fine . Or Gary ablett told a teenage girl she was sniffing cocaine and he knew it was heroin because he could phuq her how he liked, but she died.

Fagan has already intimated that we'll cop sweet whatever sanctions the VFL care to impose. The AFL can certainly make rules and regulations that apply to the competition nationwide. The breach has nothing to do with SA laws.
I'll put that last sentence another way before anyone leaps on it...we broke the SA regulation about spacing, but the breach was so minor that the SA police declined to act upon it.

Yeah I know that, but I've only heard about the girl dying in his hotel room after a drug mishap

But if he fed her H while telling her it was cocaine, boy oh boy that's completely even more f’ed

Her father tells a chilling story of his daughter who grew up a geelong nut who had ablett posters all over her room. To die from sniffing heroin he told her was cocsine. And his son allowed to preach some pretty extremist hillsong shit in social media about homosexuals going to hell.

Nothing done, but heaven forbid 8 guys standing around 15 to 20 meters from each other

Tell the AFL to shove it and pull out of this crap idea of a season altogether. That's what I'd like to see.Perhaps West Coast and Fremantle follow?.What now Gillon?.

Robbo has actually been very reasonable, which should show how bad the rest have been

You can blame the afl commission and all club boards for turning their back on corruption.

The ceo should of been sacked the in au pair scandal. That would brought on duttun being sacked. Duttun would go on do the same thing and let the Ruby princess Dock because of his private and work association with some passengers.

People died because of duttuns corruption and the AFL has previously protected him and the ceo.

Our ceo rang his mate the immigration minister to pull strings and have a hooker come house maid let back in the country. He knew what he was doing is wrong.

We sat back and allowed them both to get away with it.

We open ourselves up to this kind of shit due to our own inability to be a strong club.

Mate Nigal Smart was one of the few players that were studying at Uni while Playing, he Bachelor of Arts, Believe he studied Political Science before he became a board member, Then he went on to get an MBA in Business at a later date,
He one of the few ex-players who have the qualifications to do the job.

Ben Hart differant story.

I have a vague memory of him running for parliament for the libs after he retired

or did i dream that?

We need to fight any draft pick or player sanction penalty in court.
If Rowey actually spoke to someone at the club yesterday, then it is clear they won’t take penalties that severe. To get penalties that severe would be comparing this to salary cap or drug cheating, I just don’t get how Vic media see these are viable penalties.

Nigel Smart tried to go out into the real world, his arrogance saw him quickly flushed back to the club.

Barrett still pushing that the club broke isolation rules, seemingly completely ignoring that exemptions were given, on Triple M.

He believes the players should have been isolated along the same lines as people returning from O/S. Questioning why the club or the players isolating together in the same location was/is OK ..???

**** me he’s a moron

Line in the sand type situation. If they are too heavy.
Can handle points, but Player sanctions and draft picks are a different story,
Points are not really a penalty imo. We aren't contending. Any punishment will not stands up in court anyway so it's all moot. The WA and SA premiers united could very easily shut the comp down. If Marshall had any backbone this whole issue would have been shutdown 2 days ago. Lastly Fagan should keep his mouth closed. Any idiot crisis manager would tell you not to say we will accept any penalty. WTF, does he work for Victorian clubs?
State we will fight any penalty as the system is ****ed and completely Vic centric.

Really would have appreciated some clarity and strength from the club about this issue - which I think could have avoided both those penalties even being discussed... for example:

ā€˜We have reprimanded the players and coach who ignored AFL protocols for training, they will each receive a $**** fine and be required to do X number of hours of community service to support those affected by COVID 19. This penalty has been determined in conjunction with the AFL, and we therefore consider the matter closed’

The question is, why didn’t the club do that? Was it because the players were under the coach’s supervision? Why let the AFL have complete control of the outcome?

He can be reasonable sometimes, but clearly didn’t bother doing any research after 5pm yesterday.

They also quite clearly explained it was a far cheaper option to have them in one place instead of trying to get training equipment to 11 different houses.
