Potential training breach?

I'm sorry my reality checks offend you.

But if you actually went and read this thread before running your mouth, I've posted my opinion on the penalties.

I’ve read the thread and I’ve read your posts on all the threads and topics we’ve screwed up in and your always very active in those ones and then you go and post this on the main board

Lots of my fellow Crows supporters getting cocky like we've just won a victory.

Our club has once again humiliated itself in front of the entire competition for no real good reason and we have been lucky to get a slap on the wrist and a ban to a coach who should be sacked anyway.

But this is not a win. This is just less of a loss than it could have been.

We are still making headlines and showing very clearly why for over a decade we have had a greater exodus of elite talent than any other club in the competition.

I really thought player suspensions would apply.

Were they going to apply until we offered Hart as a scapegoat? Or until the AFL discovered other teams doing the same thing? Or maybe it was never going to happen. No way to know but I’m going to make up my mind in line with my pre existing confirmation bias.

Take a chill pill Winston Churchill. In all likelihood we're in for a pretty rough year so I'll take my enjoyment where I can get it.

I think it’s also not obvious what happened with the wild media coverage

The Gold Coast 2019 draft handouts which negatively impacted us were gently leaked via the media. Were the AFL leaking to gauge reaction from fans and other clubs? Or it was always going to happen.

In this case, did the AFL leak to gauge reactions and adjust? Or was it just journalistic fabrications.

Either is plausible.

It is easy to identify the Trolls. They went missing when we thumped Geelong and GWS in the 2017 finalsbut wereback with a vengeance from just after half timein theGrand Final.

Are we the only club on Bigfooty with a Troll Moderator?

Funny part is when Caroline ask Sam who his source were which he deflected.....it like she has information it's someone related to Port Power.
Of course it was. I've just about had enough of those Powaa ferals and their chip on their shoulder. The annoying part is that we should be grounding that sad excuse for a club into the ground but our leadership is non existent.

Watching footy classified with manure hosting is pretty funny. Trotting out the usual stuff from the last 3 years. These clowns have no idea how to promote a game. No mention of Rob Chapman I noticed. Is he an endangered species? They obviously know that if they don't mention him he may continue on to the detriment of the club.

We don’t need to destroy Poort Pear, they are doing a fine job of it themselves.

Ignoring the AFLW and going all in China has set them back a decade. They can only revalue their assets including memorabilia so often before the VFL gets sick of pouring money into their coffers.

If you go over to page 392 on the Port 'General AFL Talk' thread, you will see the exact moment where their hearts break.

I've reallly lost a lot of respect for Caroline Wilson over the last few years. She has to be the biggest 2 faced individual in the media, especially when she's on Adelaide radio. She's usually all nice and glowing about us, then you listen to her on vic radio shes bagging us left right and centre. Her whole obssesion over the camp has also gotten out of control. Would say she's beating a dead horse but because she's beated it so much, there's pretty much no horse left.

How was a parent of a port player at the same location. Didn’t the Crows hire out the resort/ golf course to themselves or was it someone employed at the resort?
Hired out 4 fairways/holes I'm pretty sure someone from the club said as well as the resort facilities which weren't open to the public.

The VIC bias is getting ridiculous and makes me so angry. Is it because they have nothing else to talk about? Is it because they love bashing the Crows? Both? If any other club did this, I'd be calling for it to be dismissed, even if it was Port. How can anyone think this is deliberate when it involves mostly rookies. SA has different rules to VIC, so if anything, it slipped their mind. I mean, they're looking at forcing the WA/SA clubs to play majority of their games interstate. Is that not a competitive edge for the Victorian teams? I don't even want the season to restart if it's going to disadvantage the Crows this much.
A couple of my Port supporting friends think it is all a beat up and are glad we basically got off.

A few feral ones though think we should have been deregistered.

Course backs onto the resort

I had a conversation with an AFL journo on Twitter yesterday, he admittedly that he has on occasion blown up a story but it's something he hates about his industry.

He didn't mention names but he referred to our current situation as the perfect example.

He said sometimes he wishes he wasn't.in his industry, and it's getting worse due "to 1 particular group of people lowering the bar"
The Australian Journalists' Association Code of Ethics
What is the Code of ethics for a journalist?
MEAA Journalist Code of Ethics Respect for truth and the public’s right to information are fundamental principles of journalism. Journalists search, disclose, record, question, entertain, comment and remember. They inform citizens and animate democracy. They scrutinise power, but also exercise it, and should be responsible and accountable.

I am sure all AFL journalists adhere to this . Manure, Wilson, Cornes to name a few

I was expecting a major press conference given the rumblings from Vic media over the weekend... I still want to know why Tom Browne went with that tweet last night when it was so very clearly wrong? Who told him to delete ASAP?
The comment that I saw in the paper up here was from Jon Ralph. His statement started with "Adelaide's flagrant breach of social distancing rules". Clearly the breach was not planned or intended but something did happen. It would be nice for Ralph to admit that he got it wrong. He certainly riled me up when I saw the word flagrant.

Glad the punishment isn't that bad. Didn't see it myself, but apparently a WC player mentioned training in groups which no-one seems to care about.

Yeah there's a pandemic going on, but I feel this was all a bit of an overreaction and it feels like some people just want to see the crows suffer.

Gary Lyon was carrying on like the irrelevant has been he know is. Brown was the main one calling out Lyons bias.
Is hard to watch Gary try to take the high road on rules and cheating after sleeping with his best mates missus and ruining his marriage.
Was that deliberate and systematic Gary?

Wilson better hope that no tigers players mess up during the season otherwise her idiotic comments will come back to haunt her.
